“Why should I pardon you? Your sons have forsaken Me And sworn by those who are not gods. When I had fed them to the full, They committed adultery And trooped to the harlot’s house. Jeremiah 5:7

God was looking for forgive Israel , but couldn’t find anyone even willing to repent. They were worshiping false idols, committing adultery, they even lie to God telling him they are righteous.

God said “Why should I forgive any of you?” Although this may seem kind of harsh, it’s a good question, why should God forgive any of us? We continually rebel against him, yet we feel we deserve all his blessings. Nobody could blame God if we walked away from us

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

However Gods love and mercy runs deep. Even though we didn’t deserve it, God pardoned us anyway. Jesus Christ came to this world to take the wages or penalty for Our Sins. The Love and Mercy that God has shown us on the cross, can’t be explained and it cant be earned. Our salvation was earned by the work of Jesus Christ, because we are not capable of saving ourselves

So Repent, give up your sinful ways, and follow the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth , and the life, we cant get to the Father God except through him! Amen!
