Cleanse The Temple

and to those who were selling the doves He said, “Take these things away; stop making My Father’s house a place of business.” John 2:16

Before the Passover Jesus went to the temple and cleansed it from the evil that was being performed there. Instead of people coming to the Temple to worship God and offer a sacrifice for their sins, they were making a profit in Gods name. Today we see this all throughout Christianity. People are making millions of dollars in the name of Jesus with no real motive to serve or worship God. Its time to “Cleanse the Temple”!

And He made a scourge of cords, and drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables; John 2:15

Jesus didn’t go to the temple and ask them would you please stop blaspheming Gods name. Jesus went in and took care of business, many try to portray Jesus as some hippy who just traveled around giving hugs. No Jesus came for justice and righteousness, evil won’t be tolerated in Gods Kingdom

Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16

Just as Jesus was cleansing Gods temple for Passover, its time for us to cleansing our Temples (us) for Christs return! Get rid of any sin or immoral behavior, Jesus is coming again and hes not going to apologize!

Christian Churches you need to “Cleanse your Temples” also, get rid of any blasphemy or evil that has invaded the Church, Judgement is coming! If you know its wrong, call it out! Cleanse your Temple in Jesus Name Amen!

How close can the church that meets in the buildings on an address that is nonresidential get to the model of the New Testament Church portrayed in Acts and emerges from the New Testament teaching of Jesus, Apostles and followers that knew Jesus or those like Paul who met Him in a well-documented encounter and wrote to us as churches that met in homes, public places and anywhere “Two or more are gathered in His name” God does not do a headcount on Sunday in His church. Does yours? Paul also tells us that Giving is a gift of the Holy Spirit. He reminds us of Jesus and His words “ You give someone that needs it, a poor person, a sick person, you give time and money to that person. Who are you really giving it to? The church so they can support an albatross of a building? If a “Church” is not growing they don’t need a building unless they are a club that confuses themselves that they are some denomination or sect, cult or whatever name. If so then incorporate as a club and you may get more numbers, more dues, and fees. A Church that is growing does not have a giving problem. Clubs do because they ask a tithe/membership fees if you will. Clubs have rules. Clubs have leaders that push and direct with their authority or the denomination’s doctrine of rules. Leaders in the Church led the sheep as followers of the chief Shepherd. Churches follow the Lord’s rule and love one another. Be salt, shine the light, wash feet. Be a follower and not a fan. Someday someone will have to answer for our divisions over names, doctrine and refusal to fellowship with the people in the building down the street. We build and promote programs to create more fans to entertain and wow with expensive sets and acts that involve little bible and look more like a rock concert. All the time homeless sleep in the street, widows are all alone, babies are aborted or abandoned as orphans and we have meetings to decide how to get more unbiblical tithes to pay for pastors and programs while the sheep are ignorant of the grace of giving that frees us to worship Jesus every day. We act like all Jesus does is come by on Sunday morning to check noses and count the cash. Hebrews 12:15
