In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1
Do you believe the first sentence of The Bible? If you believe God created the Heavens and The Earth, then you should believe that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE with God!
The greatest miracle to ever happen, happened at the first scripture. God spoke planets and stars into existence. God created us from the dust and breathed his spirit into us. If you understand and believe this, then you should have no issues believing in the Trinity, the Resurrection, or the Virgin birth. All of these events can be complicated for our human minds to comprehend, but for God “Nothing Is Impossible”
Many people say they believe parts of The Bible and not other parts, you either believe God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient or you don’t. If you don’t believe the first scripture of The Bible, then how can you believe any of it?
When you come to an understanding that the Bible is God breathed, it was not written by men but revealed by The Holy Spirit to men. It is the Bread of Life and the Living Water! It’s a supernatural book that changes you, Man can’t live on bread alone!
Give Thanks to our Heavenly Father, who created the Heavens and the Earth, who gave us life and gave us a Lord and Savior in Jesus Name Amen!

I believe the word of God 100%

This verse is perhaps my favorite. How perfect for the Bible to begin with such revelation of God’s power and magnificence. Thank you for expressing the zeal in my heart for our Maker and His word. God bless you.

I don’t think the point of the creation story is whether it is literally true or not. The point is that God created the universe and humankind. The implications of that are huge. Whether Genesis is literal or not the truth of the passage is still there. We get so hung up on the wrong issue.
I wrote recently on this topic. If you want to check it out you can here: https://rethinknow.org/2018/03/26/weve-missed-the-point-of-the-creation-story/

I don’t see how you can view Creation any other way than literal? How can you view Creation symbolically?
I’ll check out your article and give my feedback.. Thanks for your thoughts! God bless!
