In Gods Hands

“Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. Isaiah 49:16

Did God forget me? This is a question most of us have pondered at one time or another. But God makes it very clear, not only did he not forget you but its impossible for him to forget you.

“Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. (Isaiah 49:15)

To truly understand God we must view him as our Heavenly Father, he tells us he views us as his children and its impossible for a parent to forget their own child. When you realize that before you were even formed in your mother’s womb, God knew you (Jeremiah 1:5) God breathed life into your mortal body for a purpose and plan! You were not born by mistake or accident; God has chosen you!

You might say well I’m just one of billions here on this planet, but as it says “God has inscribed you on the palm of his hands”. How many of us when we try to remember something important we write it on our hand? God views you as important enough to write you down, and always remember you

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

God tells us he will never leave us or forsake us. Think about that, even when you’re walking through the “Valley of Death” he is with you. Don’t feel abandoned or forsake , God has you in the palms of his hands in Jesus Name Amen

Peace Like a River

If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea Isaiah 48:18

Do you want Peace like a River? Often when we think of Gods Law or “Torah” , we think negatively. Like hes trying to control us. But actually, it’s the opposite, God is trying to set you free from the traps Satan has planted in this world.

Just as an Earthly Father tries to instruct and guide his children, our Heavenly Father does the same thing. For example, “Thou shall not steal”. As parents, we teach us children not to steal what is not theirs, because children don’t know any better unless they are taught. This is the same with us, how do we know right from wrong without Gods commands?

When we walk with God we walk with a pure conscience that gives us peace. True internal Peace is something that can’t be bought or found in a product. True Peace is knowing you have a clean heart and mind to stand before your Creator.

Jesus is the “Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6) If you want Peace like a River, follow and accept the Living Word of God. There is no rest for the wicked  (Isaiah 48:22) however there is Peace like a River through our Lord Jesus Christ Amen

Natural or Unnatural?

For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. Romans 1: 26-27

Is Homosexuality natural? Homosexuality has become a hot topic in the Christian church. Pauls teaching in Romans is pretty clear that it is unnatural, however there is a movement trying to change this doctrine as saying “Homosexuality is natural, therefor the above scriptures don’t apply to them. My question would be if Homosexuality was natural, why can’t they reproduce naturally?

So what does God think?

‘You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination. Leviticus 18:22

God called Homosexuality an abomination. The original Hebrew word for “Abomination” is “toe-bah” meaning “detestable” , “morally disgusting” “loathsome” The abomination that God feels towards “Homosexuality” is the same he feels towards “Idolatry” , it’s the highest

So what does Jesus think?

“If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. John 15:10

Jesus kept all of Gods commandments, as we know he was sinless and the pure “Lamb of God” . Remember any sex outside of the covenant of marriage is adultery (Matthew 5). Jesus taught on the covenant of marriage between a man and woman (Mark 10)

Is there still hope for Homosexuals? Yes , we are all sinners and falling short of the glory of God, however we need to repent. The word Repent means to “changes ones mind” “become transformed”

From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17

If you deliberately continue to sin, without remorse or change, then you haven’t truly repented. Remember with God all things are possible, call upon Jesus and you can become transformed Amen

Every Knee Will Bow

“I have sworn by Myself, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance. Isaiah 45:23

What will it be like when Jesus returns? Many people are doubting his return, while others mock him. But make no mistake about it, Christ is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelation 19:16) There will come a day when every knee will bow, not just some.

BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen. Revelations 1:7

This is why, there will be many who will mourn the return of Christ. All those who mock and rebel against him , will see the Judgement of God coming upon them. Just as those who mocked him on the cross, he prevailed and was resurrected. The same is true today, many curse in the Lords name or mock him. But those will mourn the day he returns while Christians will be rejoicing.

so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, Philippians 2:10

You’re either a Christian or an Anti-Christ, there is no middle line. You either accept Christ or reject him. Those who reject him , have rejected the salvation for their souls and are condemned.  But those who are covered by the blood, will bow down before the King of Kings and swear their allegiance in Jesus Name Amen

Who Is Like God?

‘Who is like Me? Let him proclaim and declare it; Yes, let him recount it to Me in order, From the time that I established the ancient nation. And let them declare to them the things that are coming And the events that are going to take place. Isaiah 44:7

Who is like your God? That’s the question you need to ask yourself. Many different religions and cults have a “god”  but no other God can compare to the Sovereign God Yahweh.  No other God has tried to have a personal relationship with their creation. Through his Son, Jesus Christ, we can have salvation and a personal relationship with our Creator.

God is omnipresent, means he is infinite, before and after time. This is a concept that is hard to wrap our human minds around. We are like ants trying to analyze the Sun. God is the creator of time, he is before and after, God is a Spirit, and we must worship him in Spirit and Truth (John 4:24)

Our God has laid out our redemption plan for humanity, he has revealed the story of Creation in Genesis, and revealed are Messiah Jesus to save us from our sins. He has also laid out our purpose and destiny in Revelation.  He has come down to Earth, to reveal himself to us through his Son.

There is no other like our God. And there is only one way to the Father, and that’s through Jesus Christ Amen

Happy Fathers Day

So he got up and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. Luke 15:20

This weekend we celebrate Father’s Day, this is one of my favorite holidays because being a Father myself, I take great pride and honor in being a Father. I think it’s a role, that in modern day society likes to mock and dishonor. But I think taking on the role as a Father, is the greatest privilege and responsibility and glad God chose me to fulfill it!

When I think about being a Father and what does God expect from us, I reflect on the story of The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-31) Even though his son was rebellious and ungrateful, The Father still provided for the son and was merciful and compassionate with love. The Son eventually returned home and instead of The Father being filled anger, he welcomed his son with open arms and showed him true love and mercy.

This is the same relationship we can have with God our Heavenly Father. Even though at times we have been rebellious and ungrateful, God still provided Jesus to save us from our sins. And when we accept Jesus and come running back to God our Father, he greets us with open arms also not condemnation.

I want to say Thank you to my father, and thank you to my father in laws, for being great examples for me and always showing me love and mercy. I pray that I can be the best Father for my children, and show them the love and compassion throughout their entire lives in Jesus Name Amen
