Parable of The Laborers in the Vineyard

For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. Matthew 20:1

Jesus is looking for disciples, the problem is he’s looking for disciples who are willing to deny themselves, carry there cross, and follow him. Today Christianity is anything but that, everyone wants to glorify themselves in the name of God. This is false religion and not true gospel of Christ.

So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. Matthew 20:8

The day will come when we will be rewarded by our Master, Jesus Christ, for our works. Remember Faith without works is dead. As it tells us in the Bible “Those who don’t work, don’t eat”(2 Thessalonians 3:10)

Heaven isn’t a welfare system, if you refuse to work for God then why should you inherit his Kingdom? Everyone has been born with and blessed with specific talents and skills, use them to Glorify God.

But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. Matthew 20:10

We all have received blessings from God, if your alive then your blessed. Problem is we compare our blessings to each other’s. Stop wanting what you don’t have, remember being a disciple is about discipline and sacrifice. God will reward you in due time if its his will.

Learn to be thankful and appreciate the gifts God has already giving you. As Paul said “I learned to be content in all circumstances” When you understand this, you receive the peace knowing whatever Gods will is , it is good enough for you”Because God knows you and cares for you!

Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. Matthew 20:15-16

Why shall the last be first and the first be last? Because Jesus told us to deny ourselves, carry our cross, and follow him. It’s not about us and our agendas, it’s about serving others and preparing for Gods Kingdom

This is why many are called but few are chosen, many want to follow Jesus but don’t want to do the work, the discipline, and obedience it takes. Are you ready to answer Gods calling in Jesus Name Amen

Beautiful Masterpiece. It reminds me of a saying that you cannot go be paid more than you agreed with the master. The question is, on what terms did we agree on when i was agreeing to be a labourer in the vineyard? God is just. He cannot be mocked.
