Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed John 20:29
Well it St. Patrick’s day again, it’s that time when you hear the famous saying “Luck of the Irish”
There are many times in our life when we probably thought we were “lucky’ to have made it thru, maybe you had a near accident or in the right place at the right time.
But these situations are not luck at all, it’s God blessing you. You might look back and wonder how do I ever survive this? Or how did I just happen to be here? The world will tell you your just lucky but God is telling you your blessed.
(John 11:26) “and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
Before Jesus resurrected Lazarus from the dead he asked his sister Martha , does she believe he can do this? Martha confirmed her faith and Jesus rose Lazarus after being dead for four days. Her belief activated her faith. Nobody can say this was just luck, it was a miracle performed by Jesus.
There’s many people in this world who do believe in luck or karma, the universe somehow mysteriously works itself out. But know that God is in complete control, he holds the whole world in his hand, don’t believe in luck , believe in God.
(Psalm 102:25) “In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.”
God has the whole world in his hands, the world and everything on it is his creation. There are no surprises to God. Maybe your in need of a miracle today? Don’t hope for a lucky break, talk to God he is our hightower, our calm in the storm.
(Romans 8:28) “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Remember God loves you and created you for a purpose, don’t put your false trust in the world to decide your fate. Usually hardships we endure in life are caused by our own bad decisions. Trust in God to guide your life not luck.
As you celebrate St. Patrick’s day remember it not the Luck of the Irish but the Blessings of God the guide our lives in Jesus name Amen
