And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2
Are you conforming or transforming? These are the only 2 options in life, you are either following the ways of God or your following the ways of the world.
• The world says Children can be aborted but God says Children are the Heritage of the Lord
• The world says your spouse is a ball and chain but God says A Virtuous Women is the crown of her husband
• The world says you’re weak God says I can do all things thru Christ that gives me strength
• The world says watch your back God says As Iron sharpens Iron so we sharpen one another
When you renew your mind thru Christ you begin to see the world in a whole new light.
(1 John 5:19) “We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.”
Why are the ways of the world so evil? Because the world is under control by Satan. But isn’t the Earth Gods creation, how can Satan control it? Because we allow him to. You see God is our Creator but not a dictator he gives everyone the gift of free will.
So Satan has taken advantage of that free will and convinced people to follow him thru sin. Enticing them that the pleasure of sin are greater than the gift of eternal life.
Satans influence has become so great he has control of the world thru nations, governments, technology, ect. But his control is only enabled by people choosing to follow him.
(1 John 4:4) “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
The Power of Christ within you will give you the strength to overcome this world. Jesus conquered the world when he was raised from the dead, that same power is living inside of you thru the Holy Spirit.
Follow the ways of the world will only lead to your death. Follow Jesus he you will be giving eternal life
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; Ephesians 4:23
But we must renew our minds and not conform to the ways of this world. For we are what we think, when we think evil thoughts as the world you become evil. Keep your mind on the things above in Jesus name Amen
Thanks 4 Word this morning!
Be of good courage, fear not!
Armor on for fierce battles today.
Lord, guide, teach, exhort and admonish those that need it, some or all today, in Your mighty, power filled name Jesus, the name above every name, Let it be so, Amen.

Great piece! Your observation that a person either follows the ways of God or follows the ways of the world is a good one. But the “ways of the world” has a name; it is Satan. Following the ways of the world is following the ways of Satan. The ways of the world are the ways of the Prince of Darkness. By personifying evil, the contrast between good and evil becomes clearer. Following the ways of God, glorifies God; following the ways of the world, glorifies Satan. When the contrast is that stark, there is even a more powerful motivation to follow the ways of God. Our culture has drifted away from the fullest sense of the stench of evil. In contrast, when we follow the ways of God, He says we become, “a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.” [2 Corinthians 2:15 NAS] What do you think?

Always important to hear the Truths of The Word of God. It’s a battle and I need constant mind renewal – especially when the pressure is on to conform to the world. Thanks for your encouragement.
