Ministers Of A New Covenant

Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters of recommendation to you or from you? You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. 2 Corinthians 3:1-2

What does it take to be a minister for Christ?  Seminary school?  A Master’s Degree? No you have been anointed by our Lord Jesus Christ to spread the gospel, no man can teach you things except thru the Holy Spirit

You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. Such confidence we have through Christ before God. 2 Corinthians 3:3-4

The old covenant brought death but the new covenant thru Jesus brings eternal life.  We can stand before God because we have been washed by the blood of the Lamb

Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. 2 Corinthians 3:5

Truth comes from The Word of God, if it’s not in the scriptures it’s not truth. Beware of False Prophets and False religions who claim to have a new understanding or revelations from God. The Word of God is eternal and does not change

He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant–not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.  2 Corinthians 3:6

The Holy Spirit has made you competent and strong enough to spread the gospel, Jesus is the Truth, the Life, and The Way, no one goes to the Father without going thru the Son

Jesus said Go and Make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of The Father, Son , and Holy Spirit. Thru Christ will give you strength in Jesus Name Amen

Come Near to God

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7

What does it mean to “Resist The Devil”? Temptation, curiosity, lust, greed, these are all weapons Satan uses to control you. We must resist these traps before they become chains to us.

Adam and Eve knew about the “Forbidden Fruit” and the consequences that came with it, but temptation and curiosity got the best of them.  When you are vulnerable submit yourself to God and he will make you strong

Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:8

God is a just, therefore if you don’t want to come to him he won’t come to you. It’s only be your free will if you choose God. But know this “Everyone who calls on the name of The Lord will be saved”

Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. James 4:9-10

But Sin is fun, why be obedient to God when we can have fun now? Because your Sin will only last a season and leads to your destruction. You need to decide are you living for the moment or are you living for eternity?

Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you–who are you to judge your neighbor? James 4:11-12

While it might seem fun and harmless to gossip and slander other people, know this “ Those who judge shall be judged” If your going to expose someone else’s sin then be prepared to be accountable for your own sins.

Just as when the Jews were going to stone the prostitute, Jesus said “Let he who has never sinned cast the first stone” Jesus is the only Judge, Love your neighbor as you love yourself. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you in Jesus Name Amen

The Ten Virgins

“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. Matthew 25:1-2

How are you preparing for the Kingdom of Heaven? How are you preparing for the return of Jesus? The parable of the ten virgins teaches us of the importance to be prepared and ready for our Kings return

The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. Matthew 25:3-4

Many have heard the Word of God, many have heard of Jesus Christ, but few keep his commandments or have faith. Going to Church means nothing unless your actually applying the Word of God to your daily life.

The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. Matthew 25:5

Ever since Jesus has ascended into heaven we have been eagerly awaiting his return. But as Jesus told us nobody will know the day and hour of his return except God. Therefor we must remain patient and stay alert for the signs of his return.

“At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. Matthew 25:6-7

Make no mistake about it Jesus is coming back, God isn’t capable of lying and always fulfills his promises. When that trumpet sounds will you be ready? Or will you be taking off guard and unprepared?

The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out. “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves. “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.’  Matthew 25:8-10

Many have lost there focus, strayed from the Word of God and from Jesus. When the time comes it will be too late, they will look for someone to save them but there will be nobody holy left.

“Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!'”But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’ Matthew 25:11-12

Do you have a relationship with Jesus today? If you don’t know Jesus how do you expect him to know you? Jesus is a personal relationship with God, invite him into your life today and get to know him so when he returns he will know you.

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour. Matthew 25:13

Look around at this world, we are living in the last days. Be prepared, the return of Jesus is soon, keep watch and stay in faith in Jesus name Amen

Faith Without Works?

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? James 2:14

We can claim to be a Christian but if our lifestyle reflects differently from Jesus, you are not truly a Christian. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior we become transformed, just like the butterfly transformed from a caterpillar. You must walk the walk if your going to talk the talk.

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2:17

Can you truly have faith without ever proving it? Before Moses parted the Red Sea he raised his staff in the sky as instructed by God, his works activated his faith.
When Peter trusted Jesus he was able to walk on water, but as soon as he doubted he began to sink. His works were determining his faith.

You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone. James 2:24

Many are called, but few are chosen. How many of us are not growing spiritually because we have no works? To have faith is one thing, but to follow the will of God is another. Consider Noah called by God to build an Ark, everyone in the world mocked and laughed at him. He took a huge leap of faith and was rewarded with the crown of righteousness by God

As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. James 2:26

Jesus told us to carry our crosses and follow him, are we truly following him or just have faith in him? Are you living for Christ or just living hoping to see Christ? If you truly want Gods will for your life to be activated, you need to activate your faith with your works in Jesus Name Amen

Like A Child

And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3

While on vacation we took our kid to this restaurant that had its own “jungle gym”,  without hesitation he leaped into the playground, playing and instantly becoming friends with other children he didn’t even know. There were children there from all different backgrounds, races, nationalities, religions, ect.

The kids didn’t stop to interview each other to see whether they could be friends or not, they didn’t judge each other based on there appearances, they just naturally accepted each other. This is what Jesus is talking about us becoming children again. As we get older we become more corrupted and brain washed by the world, our innocence is lost. Until we truly learn to love one another and see thru the eyes of a child again we are not worthy of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven Matthew 18:4

As we get older or egos continue to grow also. We blindly obtain power and importance thru our careers, but in the big picture of life our job titles mean absolutely mean nothing. Humility is the beginning of wisdom, our pride generally leads to our demise.

Children are eager to learn and can admit when they don’t know. Until we are willing to put our egos to the side, we can’t truly learn the Word of God with an open heart and mind.

And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me Matthew 18:5

Children are the Heritage of the Lord and Gifts from God, anyone who doesn’t love children or willingly hurts them is plain and simple Satanic. The world wants us to destroy our children, promoting abortions, birth control methods, fur babies, without children the human race doesn’t exist anymore, wake up everyone

“If anyone causes one of these little ones–those who believe in me–to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matthew 18:6

Make no mistake about it anyone who harms a child will feel the wrath of God, Jesus issued the warning. It’s important as Parents, Guardians, Brothers, Sisters, and Christians we not only teach our Children about God but we protect our Children from the evils of this world.

Learn to see the world again as child, with innocence and meekness, its only until we become reborn again we are worthy of the Kingdom of Heaven in Jesus Name Amen

Angels in Disquise

Unashamed of Jesus's avatarUnashamed of Jesus

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Hebrews 13:2

You see a homeless man on the street, what is your reaction? Do you pretend to ignore him or do you offer whatever you have in your pocket? You see a handicapped person, do you look at them with affection or judgment because you don’t understand them?

The way you react to other people, reflects what truly is in your heart. God doesn’t need to know how many times you read the Bible, he can tell by your reaction to the meek. Could it be these people you’ve come in contact with were really “Angels in Disguise” ? While you look at them with disgust, they are looking at your heart.

(Matthew 5:5) “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”

“Dog Eat Dog” “Only the Strong Survive” “Sink or Swim.”  These are…
