Don’t Judge
Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Matthew 7:1-2
Judgement is a hot topic that is often debated, first notice what Jesus says here that “for the same way you judge others, you will also be judged”. Condemning people for there sins will probably condemn you. Remember we are all sinners and all a work in progress, its our job to lead people to Christ not to become a road block
Jesus has been granted authority as Judge of the World (Matthew 25:31) its not our job or authority to judge people. Overstepping this authority shows your lack of discipline and respect for Jesus. Now I know its human nature to judge people but we need to be quick to listen and slow to speak.
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye Matthew 7:3-5
If we’re going to be instructing people to live like Christ, we need to make sure our lifestyle reflects Christ also. Being a Christian you are held under the microscope by society because any faults or failures are quickly pointed out and your called a hypocrite.
While this may seem unfair, this is part of being a disciple of Christ, we need to hold ourselves to a higher standard. Many people are drawn by your actions and not your words. It’s important we focus on the plank in our eyes and not the sawdust in others eyes. Meaning worry about your own sins and shortcomings and not others.
Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. Matthew 7:6
Don’t confide in people who don’t truly love you or they will use your faults against you. We naturally want to open up to people and share our lives but as it says in Proverbs 4:23 “Above all else guard your heart for everything flows from it”
Remember Jesus chose 12 disciples to confide in and share his gospel with them. Judas betrayed that trust and lead to his death. Be careful who you are confiding in, and most important leave judgement up to Jesus and remove the plank from your own eye in Jesus Name Amen

Shake Off The Dust
If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you. Matthew 10:13
Many will oppose the gospel of Christ, but we should come in peace and if Jesus is rejected we should leave in peace also. Its our job as Christians to teach people about Jesus, and the gift of grace and mercy he has giving us. But it’s not our job to convert people to Christianity, accepting Jesus is a personal relationship and can’t be forced.
If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet. Matthew 10:14
Don’t get discouraged when people reject the Word of God, as Jesus said shake the dust off your feet and move on. Anyone who knows about Jesus is without excuse and will answer for themselves on judgement day. God has giving everyone the gift of free will, its your choice who in life you want to follow. Remember though Jesus is the truth, life and the way , nobody gets to the Father except through him
Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town. Matthew 10:15
Remember what happened to the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and as fire rained down from the sky destroying the cities and everyone and everything in it. Don’t test our God, the creator of the Heavens and The Earth. Our day of judgment will come for all of us one day, are you ready?
One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. Acts 18:9
Just as Jesus told us to shake the dust off our feet and keep spreading the gospel, he told Paul don’t be afraid, and don’t be silent. Don’t let the opposition stop you from spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. Keep on speaking, keep on fighting the good fight in Jesus Name Amen

Stump of Jesse Part 2
In that day the Root of Jesse (Jesus) will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him, and his resting place (Heaven) will be glorious. Isaiah 11:10
In this scripture we learn that Jesus is not just the Savior for the Jews but for the entire world. As Jesus didn’t come to condemn the world but to save it (John 3:17).
Jesus said come to me all you are weary and burdened and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28) Jesus is the Prince of Peace, its thru him we can find rest and strength and nobody gets to the Kingdom of Heaven without going thru Jesus.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people (Jews), which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea Isa He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth. Isaiah 11:11-12
The Jews may have rejected Jesus as there Messiah the first time he came, but he is coming back for the “remnant of his people” The Jews. This time all the Jews will return to Jerusalem from the “four corners of the Earth” Why? Because Jesus is there King and he will deliver them from all there enemies and destroy everyone who wages war against Israel.
See the first time Jesus came as the Lamb to be slain for our sins, but this time Jesus is coming back as The Lion of Judah to reestablish the nation of Israel and recover his people.
They will swoop down on the slopes of Philistia to the west; together they will plunder the people to the east. They will subdue Edom and Moab, and the Ammonites will be subject to them. Isaiah 11:14
God said I will bless those who bless you (Israel) and I will curse those who curse you (Israel). Any nation looking to wage war with Israel will be plundered. Iran and Russia are currently looking to form an alliance with other countries to destroy Israel, this is the prophecy in Ezekiel 38 Gog and Magog
We are living in prophetic times, during our lifetime we will live to see the return of Jesus Christ and his acceptance by the Jewish people. Are you ready? Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior today

Stump of Jesse Part 1
A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. Isaiah 11:1
Matthew 1:1-16 explains the genealogy of Jesus and how he fulfilled the prophecy of being the stump of Jesse. Many would be quick to say David fulfilled this. But in order to fulfill the prophecy of the Messiah you have to be sinless, perform miracles, and become resurrected. No man but Jesus can fulfill this role.
Joseph, the Earthly Father of Jesus, was the son of Jacob who is a direct descendant of Jesse. Although Jesus isn’t the biological son of Joseph, his mother Mary being married to Joseph made the genealogy of Jesus official under Jewish law. Joseph accepted Jesus as his own son, even though he knew he was from God. Isn’t It awesome how God works in mysterious ways!
The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him– the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD— Isaiah 11:2
When Jesus was baptized by John The Baptist (Matthew 3), everyone saw the Holy Spirit descended from him like a dove and God declared Jesus was his son. The Spirit then lead Jesus into the wilderness for 40 days where he confronted Satan face to face (Matthew 4)
Jesus then went on and taught about the Kingdoms of Heaven and Hell , with knowledge and authority no one had ever seen or known. He went on the heal and forgive sins, which could only be done with the authority of God
and he will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears; Isaiah 11:3
Jesus showed mercy and forgiveness that was never seen before, (John 8) Jesus showed mercy and forgiveness on the adulteress woman who was about to be stoned to death. He said l”et he who is without sin cast the first stone”, saying Judge and you will be judged also. Jesus judges by the heart which only he can see.
but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. Isaiah 11:4
Jesus showed compassion towards the poor and needy, and rebuked the rich and greedy. He chased the merchants from the Holy Temple calling it a “Den of Thieves” (Matthew 21). He instructed the rich man to sell all his possession and give it to the poor (Matthew 19)
The Word of God is double-edged sword that strikes the wicked in the heart, Jesus identified himself as The Word and The Truth, he upset the wicked to the point it drove them to torture and murder him.
