Author: Apostle John – (Rev, 1:1, 4, 9, 22:8)

Common Themes- Christ is The Word, Christ is the Lamb
Historical account of John’s exile to Patmos
Tradition holds that on one occasion, John was scheduled for boiling in oil. He escaped by divine intervention. His exile on Patmos easily could have been a death sentence. When Emperor Domitian, who had exiled him to Patmos, had died, John was brought back to Ephesus, where he was confined for two years. It is written that he was compelled to drink poison but was unharmed, and finally died in peace.

Date: Early or Later Date? Majority believe it was written the end of the first century AD 94-96
Why is this significant? Destruction of the Jewish Temple 70 AD = Held by primarily Preterist
Strong evidence for a later date:
- Irenaeus – Church Father, disciple of John, affirms late date
- Clement of Alexandria, Origen, Victorinus, Eusebius, Jerome -all affirm later date
- 7 Churches of Revelation = point to a later date = example Church of Ephesus
4 Views of Revelation:
- Preterist- Believe everything in Revelation is fulfilled by 70 AD- (hence the importance of the early date)
- Historical View– Believe Revelation is a symbolic view of the Church history
- Idealist View – View Revelation as symbolic of the cosmic world between good and evil
- Futurist View – View events from Chapters 6-22 are still futuristic , and those chapters literally and symbolically depict real events, including the second coming of Christ, the Millennial Reign, Final Judgement ect
Revelation Chapter 22
Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Revelation 22:1-2
Now we are seeing the first glimpses of Heaven, of Paradise that has been restored. Notice God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ are there right with us. Just like the Garden of Eden, God has provided a Paradise just for us!
“By the river on its bank, on one side and on the other, will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear every month because their water flows from the sanctuary, and their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.” Ezekiel 47:12
There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever. Revelation 22:3-5
The curse of Sin and Death are over! Victory is now ours through Jesus Christ. We will finally see the Lord face to face and serve him daily. When it says his name will be on their foreheads, I believe this means we are sealed by the Holy Spirit.
Notice there will never be darkness ever again! The face of Jesus shines so bright the Sun is not even necessary for Heaven.
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation– having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13
And he said to me, “These words are faithful and true”; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond-servants the things which must soon take place. And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book.” Revelation 22:6-7
Jesus tells us three times in this Chapter that He is Coming Quickly, Are you ready? Jesus may come today, maybe tomorrow, or maybe next year, don’t be like the 5 Virgins who were not ready when the Lord returned. Always keep your lamps lit! Blessed is the one who keeps the Word of God!
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. Matthew 24:36
I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things. But he said to me, “Do not do that. I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship God.” Revelation 22:8-9
The Apostle John was so excited about what he heard and saw, he fell down to worship the Angel. The Angel quickly rebuked him and told him to only worship God. Notice throughout the Bible Jesus was worshipped. This should tell you something
When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. Matthew 28:17
And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy.” Revelation 22:10-11
The Angel told the Apostle John, “Don’t seal up this book” Why? Because the time of Christ return is soon! Jesus said three times in this chapter alone “I will come quickly” Be ready and prepared for the return of our Lord and Savior
What I say to you I say to all, ‘Be on the alert!'” Mark 13:37
“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Revelation 22:12-13
From the words of the Lord Jesus Christ himself, He is coming quickly! Notice also Jesus says that everyone will be judged according to their deeds. Everything you do daily for God matters! You will be rewarded for your labor as a servant to Christ!
Also Jesus confirms again his deity as he tells us He is Eternal (The Alpha and Omega) (Beginning and The End) Jesus reigns forevermore!
“Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: ‘I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me. Isaiah 44:6
Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying. Revelation 22:14-15
Here we see two groups of people, those washed with the blood of Christ and those who are still covered in sin. But notice the timing of this scripture, the New Heavens and Earth has been established, the Holy City of the New Jerusalem has already come down from Heaven. The Great White Throne Judgement has already taken place. Could this be scriptural proof of an Eternal Hell?
These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 25:46
I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” Revelation 22:16
Interesting to note here Jesus calls himself “the bright morning start” remember Satan was also referred to also the morning star, so what does this all mean. Notice throughout the Bible, Satan tries to copy or mimic Jesus. He tries to get people to worship him, he even tried to fake his own death and resurrection. But there is only one true Christ, the Son of God , Jesus!
How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! Isaiah 44:12
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. Revelation 22:17
The Holy Spirit and The Church are screaming for the return of Jesus Christ! Are you yelling “Come Lord Jesus”? Are you spiritually awake and lamps are lit? Or are you in a spiritual slumber? Time to Get Ready!
I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book. Revelation 22:18-19
Jesus makes it very clear, we are not to add to Gods word or subtract from it. Anyone who adds to the Word of God will be condemned. Its important to preach what God has written and not create false doctrines
You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. Deuteronomy 4:2
He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen. Revelation 22:20-21
Jesus emphasizes again that He is coming Soon! Are you getting the message Church? Are you ready for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ?
If anyone does not love the Lord, he is to be accursed. Maranatha. 1 Corinthians 16:22
Revelation Chapter 21
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. Revelation 21:1-2
Probably one of the most exciting Chapters in the entire Bible. Here we learn what Heaven and Earth will look like when God restores his Kingdom. Notice it says the old Earth is going to pass away, God is going to restore paradise just like in the beginning at the garden of Eden
The holy city of the New Jerusalem is coming down from Heaven with God dwelling in it! Jesus will establish his throne here on Earth and reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords
For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind. Isaiah 65:17
And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, Revelation 21:3
Think about this, God is going to dwell among us Forever! Now wait a minute, many people believe Heaven is in the sky, floating around on clouds , and playing harps. No, The Bible clearly tells us Heaven will be restored here on Earth, just as it was meant to be in the beginning!
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14
and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4
One of the greatest scriptures in the Bible! Death, pain, suffering, and illness are all gone! There will be no more sorrow, no more depression, no more anxiety, these things have all been removed completely by God. The former things have all passed away!
He will swallow up death for all time, And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken. Isaiah 25:8
And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. Revelation 21:5-7
Jesus is Eternal, Jesus states he is the Alpha and Omega (First and Last letter of Greek Alphabet), Beginning and the End. Meaning Jesus always existed, he was always here. Don’t confuse Jesus human side with his deity.
Everyone who is in Christ is a Child of God! No longer are you a stranger or foreigner in the Kingdom of God. You are a Child of God by the blood of Jesus Christ
The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, Romans 8:16
“But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8
However those who reject Christ, will pay for the wages of their sins. Nobody can come to God except through Jesus Christ. Without the blood of Christ , you will be cut off from the Kingdom and thrown into the Lake of Fire! You need to get right with God today!
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. Her brilliance was like a very costly stone, as a stone of crystal-clear jasper. It had a great and high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names were written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel. There were three gates on the east and three gates on the north and three gates on the south and three gates on the west. And the wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Revelation 21:9-14
Here we see the Angel is showing the Apostle John what the New Jerusalem will look like. Visually its beyond our comprehension or words. Imagine a structure built by Gods hands using the finest stones and materials. The New Jerusalem will be beyond our comprehension when we are there
Notice the city has the names of the 12 tribes of Israel and the 12 apostles. It’s awesome to see how the Old and New Covenants have come together to worship the same God under the rule of the Christ Jesus
for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God. Hebrews 11:10
The one who spoke with me had a gold measuring rod to measure the city, and its gates and its wall. The city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width; and he measured the city with the rod, fifteen hundred miles; its length and width and height are equal. And he measured its wall, seventy-two yards, according to human measurements, which are also angelic measurements. Revelation 21:15-17
The New Jerusalem is going to be about 1,400 miles wide and 1,400 miles long, a perfect cube. New Jerusalem will be larger than the current country of India with nearly 2 million square miles! Think about that! And the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit will all dwell there among us, what a beautiful thought!
The material of the wall was jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. The foundation stones of the city wall were adorned with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation stone was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
Revelation 21:18-21
Again the materials of the New Jerusalem are only the finest and so beautiful its beyond words or comprehension. The gold is so pure that its like clear glass. Remember the walls will be 1,400 miles high also. Also the streets are made of pure gold, what an awesome site it will be to see!
I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. In the daytime (for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed; Revelation 21:22-25
Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” John 2:19
“No longer will you have the sun for light by day, Nor for brightness will the moon give you light; But you will have the LORD for an everlasting light, And your God for your glory. Isaiah 60:19
The New Jerusalem has no need for a temple, why? Because God himself dwells there forever! There will never be any darkness and the gates are never closed! Access to God almighty 24 X7, its going to be a long worship service!
and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it; and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. Revelation 21:26-27
Sin does not exist in the Kingdom of Heaven, this is why if your still living in sin you must remove it! Confess your sins to Jesus and repent! Become a new creation in Gods Kingdom! Make sure your name is written in the Book of Life! Make sure Jesus is your Lord and Savior!
But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. 2 Peter 3:13
Revelation Chapter 20- The Millennial Reign of Christ
Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. v1-3
Millennial Reign = 1,000 years
Serpent of Old = Satan
This Chapter will begin what is known as the “Millennial Reign” this means it will be a 1,000 year reign of Christ here on Earth. With Satan bound in the Abyss and Spiritual Babylon destroyed and removed. Peace will reign on Earth! As the King of Kings Jesus Christ reigns from Jerusalem.
The Abyss which was referenced by demons, pleading with Jesus not to throw them in there, appears to be a holding cell for Demons and evil spirits.
Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field that the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden?’” Genesis 3:1
They were imploring Him not to command them to go away into the abyss. Luke 8:31
And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. v4
souls of those who had been beheaded = Tribulation Saints
And when the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they had upheld. / And they cried out in a loud voice, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge those who dwell upon the earth and avenge our blood?” / Then each of them was given a white robe and told to rest a little while longer until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers, were killed, just as they had been killed. Revelation 6:9-11
But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years v5-6
The First Resurrection is happening. All the martyrs and saints who lost their lives for Jesus Christ, are now back and eternal. Notice it says they will not be harmed by the “Second Death” meaning they are now immortal and reigning with Jesus Christ. Don’t you want to be one of them?
And many who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, but others to shame and everlasting contempt. Daniel 12:2
For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:53
Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. v7-8
When the thousand years are over (Millennial Reign) Satan will be released for one more time to deceive the world , for one more final cosmic battle
And you, son of man, thus says the Lord GOD to the land of Israel, ‘An end! The end is coming on the four corners of the land. Ezekiel 7:2
They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. v9
Beloved City = Jerusalem
You will advance against My people Israel like a cloud covering the land. It will happen in the latter days, O Gog, that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me when I show Myself holy in you before their eyes. Ezekiel 38:16
Satan and his followers last effort to overthrow Christ and Gods Kingdom, but we already have the Victory!
The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever v10
Lake of Fire = Eternal Hell Fire
Satan’s judgement has finally come as hes thrown into the Lake of Fire with the Beast and False prophet. Lake of Fire is most likely Hell (Gehenna) where all who follow Satan and reject Christ will end up!
Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Matthew 25:41
Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. v11
Great White Throne = Final Judgement
Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? 1 Corinthians 6:2-3
The Great White Throne of Judgement is about to happen. Now notice there is basically two judgements here. The first one here I believe are the ones already resurrected because their names are in the “Book of Life”, if your name is blotted out you will not inherit the Kingdom of God
When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne. Matthew 25:31
And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. v12
Book of Life = The saved in Christ
“At that time Michael, the great prince who stands watch over your people, will rise up. There will be a time of distress, the likes of which will not have occurred from the beginning of nations until that time. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered Daniel 12:1
Now those who did inherit eternal life are being judged based on their deeds (works) for Gods Kingdom to determine their place
There is a dispute about when the Church will receive their rewards at the judgement seat of Christ, most likely at the Rapture
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10
The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. v13
The Final Judgement of everyone who lived
Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear His voice / and come out—those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment. John 5:28-29
This part of the Judgement will be for those whose name was blotted out of the Book of Life. Because they are not covered by the blood of Christ, all their sins will be judged according to Gods Law.
“For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and WILL THEN REPAY EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS. Matthew 16:27
Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire v14-15
Final judgement of everyone = Death and Hades thrown into the Lake of Fire = Eternal Hell
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28
Everything has finally been abolished including evil, sin, and death. Satan and everyone who has rejected Christ have received their final destination of the Lake of Fire. This is why its crucial we tell people the gospel of Christ and what Jesus has done for us!
The last enemy that will be abolished is death. 1 Corinthians 15:26
Revelation Chapter 19- Marriage Of The Lamb
After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God! For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.” v1-2
The Great Harlot = Babylonian Beast System
While there have been many Chapters that were difficult to read sometimes, this one is a Chapter you will want to read over and over again. In this Chapter we have the celebration of Christs victory over Satan and the evil corrupted system of Babylon!
We will also see the Marriage Ceremony finally completed of the Groom (Jesus Christ) and the Bride (Christians) Finally Gods Kingdom is ready to be reestablished forever!
Rejoice, O nations, with His people; For He will avenge the blood of His servants, And will render vengeance on His adversaries, And will atone for His land and His people.” Deuteronomy 32:43
Again they said, “Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, “Amen! Alleluia!” Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!” v3-5
24 Elders = Raptured Church = 12 Apostles + 12 Tribes of Israel
4 Living Creatures = Angels
Surrounding the Throne of God
The worship service continues in Heaven and on Earth, as they will soon becoming united as one. Notice it says Babylon is destroyed forever! Give praise to God everyone!
Praise the LORD! Praise the name of the LORD; Praise Him, O servants of the LORD, Psalm 135:1
And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” v6-7
The marriage ceremony of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) and the Bride (Christians) has come! This was fortold by Christ himself while here on Earth. Notice it says The Bride has made herself ready, are you ready? Is your lamp lit or are you out of oil?
But while they were on their way to buy it, the bridegroom arrived. Those who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet, and the door was shut. Matthew 25:10
Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps lit. Luke 12:35
And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.” v8-9
Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding ceremony of Christ, have you accepted your invitation? Have you repented of your sins and given your life to Jesus? Don’t squander your invitation to eternal life with our Lord and God
I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, my soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation and wrapped me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom wears a priestly headdress, as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. Isaiah 61:10
You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect.” Luke 12:40
And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” v10
Christ is Worshipped – Angels are not
Notice the Apostle John mistakenly went to worship the Angel because of the good news he was telling him about Christ. But the Angel quickly rebuked John to not worship him. However the disciples worshipped Jesus and he never rebuked them!
When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. Matthew 28:17
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God v11-13
Remember back in Revelation Chapter 6, the first of the four horsemen was the Antichrist riding on a white horse. This was an imitation of the even that is about to happen now. The real Jesus is coming now, this time as the Lion with eyes of flames of fire and not as the Lamb.
Notice his name is the Word of God as John referred to him in the gospels. The Living Word of God is in flesh
His body was like beryl, his face like the brilliance of lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of polished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude. Daniel 10:6
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1
And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. v14-16
Notice Jesus is not coming alone, hes coming with an Army of Angels from Heaven! The Word of God is his sword and he devours evil when he speaks! And Jesus title of King of Kings and Lord of Lords is revealed! Jesus will rule the world with a rod of iron
Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied about them: “Behold, the Lord is coming with myriads of His holy ones Jude 1:14
which He will bring about at the proper time– He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 1 Timothy 6:15
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
‘You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.'” Psalm 2:9
Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.” v17-18
The time has come for the final cleansing of the Earth, where all wickedness and evil will be removed forever. Think about all the evil and atrocities going on right now in this world, they will all be gone Forever!
Take away the wicked before the king, And his throne will be established in righteousness. Proverbs 25:5
And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh. v19-21
Lake of Fire = Eternal Hell Fire
Beast = Anti-Christ and False Prophet thrown into Lake of Fire
All followers of Satan = Not Born Again in Christ = Thrown into Lake of Fire
Finally Satan and all of his followers were thrown into the Lake of Fire! Final Judgement is coming! All this time Satan thought he would get away with his Sins, Time is Up for Satan and his followers! Get ready for Gods Kingdom, the new Heavens and Earth are coming! Glory to God in Jesus name!
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth and annihilate by the majesty of His arrival. 2 Thessalonians 2:8
Revelation Chapter 18- Babylon is Fallen
After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.” v1-3

Babylonian System = New World Order = False religion, politics, economy
Finally, Babylon has fallen! Finally the corrupted and evil religious and political system of Satan is destroyed. The world was drunk on her immorality and wealth, however God has brought that to an end. Because God is about to reestablish his perfect Kingdom, so all Sin and immorality must be removed first!
Babylon has been a golden cup in the hand of the LORD, Intoxicating all the earth. The nations have drunk of her wine; Therefore the nations are going mad. Jeremiah 51:7
And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. v4-5
But notice God is still allowing people to Repent! Even after the partaking of all the horrible sins and immorality of Babylon, people can still “Come Out of Her” and Repent! The sins of Babylon are so great they are piled as high as the Heavens and God has not forgotten any of her Sins!

Come out of her, My people! Save your lives, each of you, from the fierce anger of the LORD. Jeremiah 51:45
Flee from the midst of Babylon, And each of you save his life! Do not be destroyed in her punishment, For this is the LORD’S time of vengeance; He is going to render recompense to her. Jeremiah 51:6
Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow. ’Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her. v6-8
Sins will be double!
God will judge the evil system of Babylon double for all her Sins and Immorality. Notice the arrogance of Babylon, saying “ I will never see mourning” this is a lie straight from Hell. Don’t fall for the deception of Babylon! Don’t fall for Satans lies to this world
“Their Redeemer is strong, the LORD of hosts is His name; He will vigorously plead their case So that He may bring rest to the earth, But turmoil to the inhabitants of Babylon. Jeremiah 50:34
“The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’ “And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore: merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men. The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all. The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’ “They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.’ v9-19
The Entire world will mourn the collapse of Babylon! Why? Because the world is drunk off of her money, immorality, power, religion and luxury. This is why God tells you not to be part of this world. If you put your trust in your money, your career, your possessions, you are doomed. All of these things are temporary and cant save your soul. Only Jesus Christ can save your soul, you need to keep him first and world last.
Anti-Christ Kingdom has collapsed = Final judgment coming!
1 hour = short time = Babylonian system destroyed
Suddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken; Wail over her! Bring balm for her pain; Perhaps she may be healed. Jeremiah 51:8
The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together, against the LORD and against His Anointed One: Psalm 2:2
“Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!” v20
Rejoice because finally Gods judgement has come!
And they cried out in a loud voice, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge those who dwell upon the earth and avenge our blood?” Revelation 6:10
However Gods people rejoice over the destruction of Babylon. Because we know the Gods Kingdom is being restored soon. We know time is up for Satan and his followers. We know that justice and mercy will finally be served by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
Then heaven and earth and all that is in them Will shout for joy over Babylon, For the destroyers will come to her from the north,” Declares the LORD. Jeremiah 51:48
Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore. The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters shall not be heard in you anymore. No craftsman of any craft shall be found in you anymore, and the sound of a millstone shall not be heard in you anymore. The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. v21-23
The destruction of Babylon is about to take place, and Babylon will never exist again! All the laughter and partying of the wicked are about to be turned into weeping and gnashing of teeth. Notice it says Satan used sorcery or witchcraft to deceive the world. Many of the common things of this world today, are rooted in witchcraft. Even drugs and pornography originated from witchcraft. Satans system is finally destroyed forever!
‘Moreover, I will take from them the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp. Jeremiah 25:10
And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth. v24
The blood of the prophets and saints revealed by the Satanic Babylonian System
The death of all the prophets and saints (Christians) are found due to Babylon (Satan). This wicked system is to rob, steal, and kill. This wicked system was created to deceive the world into following Satan, many without even knowing it. Make sure you stay separated from the world!
For they have spilled the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink, as they deserve.” Revelation 16:6
I could see that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints and witnesses for Jesus. And I was utterly amazed at the sight of her. Revelation 17:6
As a result, this generation will be charged with the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the foundation of the world, / from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, all of it will be charged to this generation. Luke 11:50-51
