Don’t Be Deceived

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

There is a new trend in “Liberal Christianity” where denominations are accepting homosexuals as members, some denominations are even ordaining them to be pastors and bishops. Do any of these people even read the Bible? Apostle Paul clearly teaches homosexuals will not inherit the Kingdom of God. If homosexuals are not even saved, what makes you think they can be ordained as pastors or bishops?

This is what happens when denominations and “Churches” disregard the Word of God. They make  up there own doctrine and send people straight to hell. As Paul says “Don’t Be Deceived”

Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:11

Now the good news (Gospel) is that we can be saved through Jesus Christ. If you Repent (Turn Away) from your sins, you can become Born Again (John 3:3) However when you become Born Again and baptized by the Holy Spirit, you don’t still remain in your sins, you change your lifestyle.

Someone who continues to live in their sin and believes they are saved is deceived!

But from the beginning of creation, God MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE. FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH; so they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” Mark 10:6-9

Here is Jesus teachings, he quotes directly from the Word of God (Genesis) First notice God makes males and females, there is no such thing as a transgender, God does not make mistakes

Second the covenant of Marriage is between a Man and a Woman that should be eternal. God made the Law of Marriage not man, therefor nobody has the authority to change it except God, which he never changes

Don’t be deceived , God will not be mocked, Repent and come to Christ, the only way to the Kingdom of God

Preach The Gospel

For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for I am under compulsion; for woe is me if I do not preach the gospel. 1 Corinthians 9:16

Look at me! I preached the gospel and thousands became saved, my name becomes well known, money comes pouring in, is this true Christianity? No but sounds familiar doesn’t it?

Like Paul said , if I truly preach the gospel do I have anything to brag about? No, because its clear I’m a wretched sinner only saved by the grace of God and the blood of Jesus Christ. If I preach the gospel does anyone become saved because of me? Absolutely not! Only the Holy Spirit can draw the walking dead to Christ.

For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have a stewardship entrusted to me. 1 Corinthians 9:17

As Paul said “Woe is us if we don’t preach the gospel” , if you know the cure to cancer would you keep it a secret? Then why would you keep the only way to Salvation a secret? Do you hate humanity that much that you rather watch them all perish into the pit?

Our marching orders are clear, preach the gospel. Whether I want to or not, I’m a slave to Christ! If anyone comes saved from my preaching Glory to God, for its only by him and through him we can become saved.

Preach the gospel at all times, you never know how the Holy Spirit will work!

Living Hope

For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 Corinthians 5:1
Our Earthly Tent which is our bodies is being torn down. Everyday regardless of what you believe, our physical bodies are dying. Some of us suffer disabilities or diseases, for many our daily lives are not easy. However there is hope through Jesus Christ. When our temporary bodies pass away we will be given a Building from God which is our eternal resurrected bodies
For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven, inasmuch as we, having put it on, will not be found naked. 2 Corinthians 5:2-3
Some people cling on to this world while other suffer and groan waiting for the day to be called home. To a non-believer this hope is not even understandable. As Atheist believe this world is the best life has to offer, but those reborn with Christ know this place is just temporary.
Do you long to be with your Lord? Do you long to be with your Heavenly Father? If your unsure maybe you should examine your relationship with God.
For indeed while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed but to be clothed, so that what is mortal will be swallowed up by life. 2 Corinthians 5:4
How can we know this resurrection will happen? We know because Christ rose from the dead. Everything points back to the Resurrection, the fulfillment of hope, our victory in Jesus name Amen!

Is Heaven Real?

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago– whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows– such a man was caught up to the third heaven. 2 Corinthians 12:2

The Apostle Paul gives us a testimony here , regarding a man he met who was taken up to the “3rd Heaven”. Now the first question will be what is the 3rd Heaven? And second question will be why should we believe this story?

The 3rd Heaven from a Biblical perspective is the place where God lives. The 1rst Heaven is the sky you can see above you, the Second Heaven is outer space beyond our atmosphere, and the 3rd Heaven is beyond space where God reigns.

So why should we believe that a mortal man has seen Heaven? Because the Apostle Paul is a very reliable witness. He wrote over half of the New Testament including the first Christian Creed of the death and resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15) also Paul is under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. To disregard Pauls testimony here, you would have to throw out half of the New Testament.

And I know how such a man– whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows–was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak. 2 Corinthians 12:3-4

Paul describes Heaven as “Paradise” which is exactly how Jesus described it to the thief on the cross (Luke 23:43) Paul doesn’t know if the man was in his physical body or in his spirit taken to Heaven but what he saw was beyond our human comprehension.

There are mysteries that won’t be revealed to us until we get to our “Fathers House” (John 14) however take comfort in knowing Heaven is Real and many people have already been there. Take comfort in knowing that death is not the end for us , as Jesus have overcome the grave Amen!

Fix Your Eyes on Jesus

Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:16

Life is a struggle, every day we get closer to the reality of death. Most people don’t want to talk about this, but this is a reality you cant ignore. And while our physical bodies are growing older and dying, ours souls inside are being renewed everyday

How is this possible? Its all possible because of our Lord Jesus Christ defeating sin and death. Because He lives eternally we can live eternally also. However without Christ you are just the walking dead, a bunch of dry bones in the wilderness waiting for the grave.

For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 2 Corinthians 4:17

And while we struggle today, we deal with pain, suffering, disease, illnesses, the glory that is to come will far outshine the past. The day when we inherit our eternal bodies and meet our Lord face to face, all the pain and struggle will be remembered never again

while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

This is why its important to focus on the eternal kingdom and not this temporary world. We can easily focus on all the negativity of this world, but as Jesus said “Take Heart because He has overcome the world! (John 16:33)  Amen!

Focus On Eternity

we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 2 Corinthians 4:8-10

What is wrong with the prosperity gospel? Everything is wrong with the prosperity gospel, there is no reality in it whatsoever. As we read during the Apostle Pauls ministry, he was persecuted and eventually beheaded because of his faithfulness to Jesus Christ. This is not the picture the false prophets will teach you on TV and Youtube

If your being honest with yourself, your life probably sucks right now. Death and disease are rampant. Depression, anxiety, and fear haunt us on a daily basis. Why? Because we live in a broken world due to Sin. Be honest with yourself , as a Christian you are going to suffer and possibly face persecution for your faith

For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So death works in us, but life in you. 2 Corinthians 11-12

So what is our hope? Our living hope is the Lord Jesus Christ, who defeated Sin and Death. A New Kingdom is coming , to abolish this evil cursed world. Stop looking in this world for salvation, only Christ can set you free!

Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28

As Jesus said, they can kill our body but they cant kill our soul. Our Soul belongs to Jesus , this is your living hope not prosperity of this world. Focus on eternity and not the temporary Amen!
