Ceasefire

Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? Matthew 7:3

Its easy to point out the flaws and failures of others, but what about yourself? Can you look in the mirror and be accountable for your flaws and failures also? Jesus teaches us this principle, judgement is not ours, whoever judges another is condemning themselves.

Problem is when we spend so much time on analyzing others people’s flaws, we tend to forgot our own. Its important we strive to live like Christ and allow him to live in us. How did Jesus view others? Remember when the woman caught in adultery, instead of Jesus condemning her to death her forgave her of her sins. Then Jesus said “Let anyone of you who is without sin, cast the first stone (John 8:7) Nobody condemned her then, why? Because we are all guilty, we are all sinners and have fallen short to the Glory of God (Romans 3:23)

So is there a plank in your own eye? Meaning do you have some unresolved sin in your life? Is your life a reflection of Christ or the world? Stop looking at the sin in other people lives and reflect on your own life. Are you ready to stand before Jesus with a clean heart and mind? Repent your sins for the kingdom of God is at hand (Matthew 3:2)in Jesus name Amen

So easy to cast the first stone  Its harder to search your own soul -For King and Country – Ceasefire

What is Your Soul Worth?

What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? Matthew 16:26

What is your eternal soul worth to you? Is there anything worth giving it up for? These questions Jesus addressed to teach us the importance of not conforming to the ways of the world (Romans 12:2) but to keep our minds on our eternal destiny which is in Heaven. (Philippians 3:20)

We must remember that Satan rules this world (John 12:31), and he is a liar and thief looking to kill and destroy (John 10:10) so anybody who loves this world does not love God (1 John 2:15) Therefor we not try to conform to the ways of this world but renew our minds through Christ (Romans 12:2)

Satan will promise you power and Kingdoms of this world, just as he offered Jesus in the wilderness (Matthew 4:8) But remember the things of this world are temporary and Gods kingdom are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18) Also remember Satan is a liar, just as he lied to Adam and Eve from the very beginning and told them they surely won’t die (Genesis 3:4) he is also lying to you.

Our riches are in heaven and not of this world , where they can’t be stole or destroyed by anyone (Matthew 6:20) Because Gods Kingdom is eternal and we are his children (Romans 8:15) through Jesus Christ by the blood of The Lamb Amen

Seed of Faith

It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches.” Luke 13:19

If we could see your faith, would it be a strong tree with deep roots? Or would it be a flower withering away under the sun? The Word of God is the seed (Luke 8:11) And when we truly hear Gods word and listen, its takes root into our hearts and our faith begins to grow

Rooted and build up in Jesus , strengthened in the faith as we were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness (Colossians 2:7)

Jesus taught us about several scenarios when people hear the Word of God : Satan is always trying to distract us and remove the seed before it takes root (Matthew 13:4)

  1. Some people accept the Word of God but as soon as a trial comes along their faith falls apart because they don’t have deep roots (Matthew 13:5-6)
  2. Other people lose their faith because of the negative influences around them become stumbling blocks (Matthew 13:7)
  3. Others produce deep roots and grow strong faith in God and live a fruitful life (Matthew 13:8)

So which are you? Is your faith in God deep enough to withstand trials? Or does your faith wither?

For the grass whithers and the flowers fall, but the Word of God endures forever (Isaiah 40:80 in Jesus Name Amen

Gods Not Dead

He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Matthew 28:6

Why can we have faith and hope in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? Because our God lives forever (Hebrews 7:24), he has conquered the grave (1 Corinthians 15:57), he has overcome the world (John 16:33), Jesus said I am the living One, I was dead and now alive forever, he holds the keys to death and the grave (Revelation 1:18)

And if Christ has not been raised from the dead, then Christianity is pointless (1 Corinthians 15:54) Without Jesus there is no hope or salvation, for the wages of our sin is death (Romans 6:23) and we are all sinners and fall short from the glory of God (Romans 3:23) That’s why Christ is the only way to eternal life, nobody gets to God except though him (John 14:6) Nobody else is worthy to be our ransom (Matthew 20:28) except the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ (John 1:29)

But there is good news, even though we were still sinners Christ died for us (Romans 5:8) paid our debt and on the third day rose from the grave, just as he said he would (1 Corinthians 15:4) O Death where is your sting? (1 Corinthians 15:15) We have victory through Jesus Christ because our God so loved the world he gave his only begotten Son so we shall not perish (John 3:16) in Jesus Name Amen

Free Indeed

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36

Are you truly free? Many people will answer yes because they live in a free country. However, this freedom cannot free you from the imprisonment of ourselves. Many are prisoners to their thoughts, worries, guilt, and addictions. However, there is true freedom in Jesus Christ (Galatians 5:1)

At the cross Jesus released the chains of everything that binds us, addictions, anxiety, anger, fear, hatred (Psalm 107:14) Jesus is the Truth, Life, and Way (John 14:6) and when you know the truth it shall set you free (John 8:32) Jesus bore all your sins and transgressions that imprisoned you and put them on his shoulders (Isaiah 53:4-5) Cast all your cares on him (1 Peter 5:7) and you will experience true freedom in Christ

Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand (Matthew 3:2) This is the key that will unlock your prison cell, without repentance there can be no salvation. If your tired of living as a prisoner to the traps that Satan has set for you (2 Timothy 2:26) then come to the cross, let your old self die and your new self (Ephesians 4:24) be resurrected with Christ (Romans 6:4) the Son has set you free in Jesus Name Amen

Weeds

But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. Matthew 13:25

Are there weeds in your life? No matter where you go in life you’re going to come across some weeds. The reason is Satan wants to distract you, he wants to keep you off your path to victory and righteousness.  And although we may not be able to control the weeds, we can control how we react to the weeds. You might say why don’t God just remove the weeds? Jesus explains this , since the weeds are mixed in with the wheat, God can’t just bring judgement on the bad people or good people would be harmed also (Matthew 13:29)

So it’s important to remember to be alert and sober for Satan is looking to devour us like a Lion (1 Peter 5:8) Be aware of the “weeds” that surround you, as Satan sets traps all around you (2 Timothy 2:26) Remember the “weeds” are not from God as he does not tempt us beyond our control (James 1:13) and everything that is good is from God (James 1:17)

But remain patient for one day the Harvest will come, and God will remove the “weeds” and they will be thrown into the fire (Matthew 13:30) For Jesus will send out his angels and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who does evil (Matthew 13:41) For the Harvest is plentiful but the workers are few (Matthew 9:37) in Jesus Name Amen

Our Fathers House

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. John 14:1

At some point in all of our lives, regardless of what your faith or beliefs are, you will have to face our enemy death. Many times people don’t even think about God or the afterlife until a death occurs to someone close to them. But Jesus actually taught us about death and what to expect, right before he was going to be crucified for our sins

Jesus gives us the hope and reassurance by starting out “Don’t let your hearts be troubled” he knows the pain of death, as Jesus wept during the death of his friend Lazurus. But Jesus is telling us were going to be ok, if we believe in Christ as our Lord and Savior , we are saved through him

My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? John 14:2

Jesus goes on to describe Heaven, in Gods house (Heaven) there are many room, which means God has prepared a place for us with him. As we know Jesus is living Word of God, the Truth, since he told us this we should expect this after death

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:3

Next Jesus reveals not only did God prepare a place for us but Jesus himself will come back for us and take us to be with him. Isn’t that a comfort to know when we crossover to the other side our Lord will come get us and we won’t be alone

You know the way to the place where I am going.” John 14:4

Jesus ends with a strong statement, You know the way to the place (Heaven)where I am going” Many will try to complicate death but its simple. When you give yourself to Christ you belong to God. You are going to be with him in his Kingdom forever. Take comfort in these words and promises that our Messiah delivered to us in Jesus Name Amen

Fear No Evil

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

Are you walking through a dark valley right now in your life? Are you fearful or anxious about your future? We don’t have to be because God told us he would never leave or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6) Because God has not given us a Spirit of fear but one of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7) So whatever struggle you are facing against, say I will Fear No Evil, because God is with you. And if God be for us who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)

You may say then, how can God be with me? Why does he feel so far away? But Jesus taught us that God would send a Comforter and he will stay with you forever (John 14:16) That comforter is the Holy Spirit, the power of the living God, the same power that rose Christ from the dead is living inside you (Romans 8:11)

There will be trials and tribulations, however God blesses those who perseveres under trial, having stood the test, that person will receive the Crown of Life (James 1:12)  So don’t walk through your dark valleys defeated, remember God has commanded us to Be Strong and Courageous for God will be with us wherever we go (Joshua 1:9) in Jesus Name Amen

Good News!

Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked. Acts 8:30

Do you have trouble understanding the Bible?  The disciple Philip came across and Ethiopian man who was reading the book of Isaiah, but didn’t fully understand it. The Holy Spirit led Philip to talk to the man and explain the scriptures were about the prophecy of Jesus Christ.

Do you ever feel led to talk to someone about Jesus? You’re probably being led by the Holy Spirit, there are many people out there searching and looking for answers about our Lord and Savior

“How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. Acts 8:31

The man is looking for someone to explain the scriptures to him, and God led Philip right to him. How do you seek wisdom and knowledge of God? When you don’t understand the scriptures, who do you turn to? It’s important we turn to God for the answers and pray for the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit, as he promised us.

Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. Acts 8:35

Many people view the Bible in a negative light, but “The Good News” is exactly what it is. Regardless of the struggles and obstacles we may face, we always have hope and salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ! That is Good News and everybody needs to know about it. For everyone who calls upon

Yeshua (Jesus)our Messiah (Christ) shall be saved Amen!

The Unseen is Eternal

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

What if there is more to this life than meets the eye? What if there are kingdoms around you right now , which you can’t see?  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) We need to realize that we are in a spiritual warfare for your soul, Jesus wants to save it and Satan wants to destroy it.

So we need to fix our eyes on the unseen, which is Jesus Christ, because he is our Lord and Savior, blessed are those who don’t see but still believe (John 20:29) When we fix our eyes on Christ, we are victorious in this spiritual warfare of the unseen world. (Revelation 3:21)

You are not in this battle alone, for God has sent his angels to watch over you (Psalm 91:11) God has sent his Holy Spirit to live inside you (John 14:16) Greater is he (Holy Spirit) living inside of us than he (Satan) that is living in the world (1 John 4:4)

So how do we prepare for this battle of the unseen world? For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does (2 Corinthians 10:3) We use our weapons of warfare to fight the evil of this world (2 Corinthians 10:4)  But take heart for Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33), therefor we can overcome also in Jesus Name Amen
