Walk of Faith

“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”   “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. Matthew 14:28-29

Peter took a “Walk of Faith” and decided to trust Jesus would allow him to walk on the water. When he cried out, Jesus immediately responded to him with open arms. See its makes our Lord happy when we have the faith in him.

But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Matthew 14:30

But then Peters human mind started to kick in, wait were not supposed to be able to walk on water, and he lost his faith and immediately began to sink.  Jesus said that all things are possible if you have faith in Him.

Notice Peter still remembered to call out to The Lord to save him, even though Peters fall was his own fault due to his lack of faith, Jesus is still willing to save us.

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”

Notice it says “Immediately” Jesus reached out for him. Jesus didn’t let him struggled in the water for a while. He took compassion on Peter and saved him immediately.

The Jesus taught him the valuable lesson, its faith that activates Gods miracles, its doubt that stops them.  If you’re going to be taking a “Walk of Faith” today make sure you are all in with God

And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.” Matthew 14:32-33

The Disciples seen how Jesus controlled the winds, walked on the water, and saved Peter, they knew Jesus is truly the Son of God. Do you truly know Jesus? And believe his is the Messiah?

Remember during your daily “Walk of Faith” trust in the Lord and it will activate Gods power in you. And if your drowning, call  upon The Lord and he will save you immediately just as he saved Peter in Jesus Name Amen

Never Defeated with Christ

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 2 Corinthians 4:7

The Power of the Living God, that raised Jesus from the dead is living inside or you. No matter what Satan does to you, he can’t take this away, for Jesus has defeated death and conquered the grave.

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

Jesus warned us there will be persecution; the world will hate you because of him. But if God is for us  who can be against us, nothing can defeat the power of God who spoke planets into existence and breathed life into our bodies.

Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 2 Corinthians 4:10

Does the world see Christ living inside of you? Some people you are the only Jesus they are ever going to experience, represent Christ with Justice.

For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you. 2 Corinthains 4:11-12

Our mortal bodies might be decreasing but our eternal souls are increasing everyday; O death where is your sting? Because Jesus lives we can live also

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; 2 Corinthians 4:13

I write these words because I believe these words, for we walk by faith and not by sight. Do you believe?

Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.2 Corinthians 4:14

The same way Jesus was resurrected is the same way you will be resurrected; by the love and sacrifice of Jesus you are redeemed; you can’t be defeated by death because you have the power of God living in you in Jesus Name Amen

Prince of Peace

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

Jesus is the Prince of Peace and he not only has giving us the gift of eternal life, but the gift of peace also. As he says he does not give as the world gives. What does he mean by that?

Let’s look at how the world gives, everyone thinks if they only had more money, a bigger house, a newer car, then they would be happy. But you can’t find peace in material objects, you find peace thru Jesus Christ.

“You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. John 14:28

We can also obtain Peace by letting people go, when Jesus was going to die on the cross obviously his disciples were very distraught. But Jesus is telling them I’m going to Heaven to be with God, rejoice for me.

When we lose a loved one it can be very painful also, but we can have peace in knowing they will be in Heaven just like Jesus. It’s a message straight from God, take comfort in knowing this.

I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.
John 14:29

Jesus is prophesying his own resurrection, his disciples may not have understood this at the time , but he came back and visited them to prove he is alive forever. Take comfort in knowing Jesus has conquered death, only thru the Prince of Peace can we have eternal life.

I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me, but he comes so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me. “Come now; let us leave John 14:30-31

Notice Jesus warns them about Satan “Prince of This World”, but he has defeated Satan as he told them he has no hold over me.

Its your choice who your going to follow, the Prince of Peace or the Prince of This World, Jesus has conquered the grave and his peace he gives to us so that we may live today in Peace even thru the chaos of this world in Jesus Name Amen

Cast Your Cares On Him

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 1 Peter 5:6

Anyone who believes life will always be easy is foolish; God tells us there will be season of joy and seasons of pain, seasons of suffering and seasons of rejoicing. The important thing to remember is to stay strong in Lord no matter what season it is

God has a plan for you and he will exalt you in due time. His ways our better than our ways; trust in him and he will exalt you.

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7

God made us in his image, he knows every tear that you cried. He knows the pain you are dealing with, but as Jesus told us, Don’t be troubled, because he is coming for us and preparing a place for us in Heaven.

Cast all your care upon God, he wants to hear from you. Let him know how your feeling and remember to faith in him. Because nothing is impossible with God

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Peter 5:8

Satan wants to devour you like a lion, how does he devour you? Drugs, Lust, Greed, Envy, these are traps he uses to change your heart and destroy you from the inside out. Stay Alert, wear the Armor of God to stand against his schemes

Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 1 Peter 5:9

Jesus told us the world will hate us because of him, know this and be prepared. The road is narrow is small is the gate. Be prepared for the storms that will come.

But whatever you are going thru, remember to Cast all your Cares on God because he won’t leave you or forsake you in Jesus name Amen

Name Above All Names

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Philippians 2:5

Jesus commanded us to love one another as he loved us, how much did Jesus love us? He willingly laid down his life for us all, even the people who deny and mock him. It’s important for us to try to achieve this mindset, love just as Christ loves us.

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. Philippians 2:6-7

Even though Jesus was God in the flesh, he lowered himself to be an atonement sacrifice for our sins. He could have easily wiped out the Roman Empire with a snap of his finger but instead he decided to try and save the Romans just like he saved the entire world.

And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death– even death on a cross! Philippians 2:8

Jesus was so stressed out about taking the cross that he sweated blood, but he willingly went thru the brutal beating and painful death of the cross to save us from our sins. It’s only because of the obedience and love of Jesus that we have been saved.

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

The Name above all Names, Jesus was exalted by God to be King of Kings and sit as his right hand. Every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess Jesus is our Lord and Savior. There is no other name greater than Jesus, exalt him everyday Amen

No Greater Love

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.  John 15:13-14

How do we know if someone truly loves them? Words are nice but your actions will truly show how much you love someone. Jesus showed us the greatest act of love, to lay down his life for us. How can anyone put that deep of love into words?

Its just like a woman sacrificing her body to give birth to her child, is there any greater act of love that a mother could display than this? These sacrifices are acts of love, there is no greater love than this

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. John 15:15

Jesus doesn’t see us as servants, as failures, he calls us his friends. How many people do you personally call your friend? And how many of them would you willingly lay down your life for?

In todays world we use the terms love and friend very loosely, but Jesus takes them very serious. Isn’t great to know you have a friend in Jesus who sacrificed everything for you?

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit–fruit that will last–and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. John 15:16

What’s even more amazing is Jesus comes to us, we don’t have to travel great distants or go thru great lengths to get to Jesus, he is with us. He sent us the Holy Spirit after his ascension to guide and comfort us.

Remember the story of Disciples, after Jesus died on the cross, Peter denied Jesus and thought he left him forever. But after Jesus rose from the dead, he went to visit Peter on the shore. Jesus came looking for Peter, just as he looks for us also.

This is my command: Love each other. John 15:17

Jesus has taught us what it truly means to love, now let’s follow his commandment to Love each other just as Christ loves us. When the world lets you down, remember what Jesus has already done for you, there is no great love in Jesus Name Amen.

Comfort of Christ

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.” John 14:1

Jesus is preparing his disciples for his departure; he’s telling them just because he’s not living here on Earth anymore he’s alive in Heaven waiting for them.

This is great comfort, not only knowing that Jesus is alive and waiting for us but also  Jesus reveals a little about Heaven and what we can expect on our journey there.

My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? John 14:2

Jesus is telling us Heaven has plenty of room for us; you won’t be turned away by lack of vacancy. Jesus promised to his followers he is going to prepare a place for you, question is are you one of his followers?

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:3

Not only has Jesus giving us eternal life, promised to prepare a place for us in Heaven, but also he promises to come get you on that day to your Heavenly destination.

God has promised to never leave us or forsake us and he is holding on to that promise. When you leave this Earth , Jesus is coming for you, just as he promised.

“You know the way to the place where I am going. Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way? Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:4-6

Do you know the way to Heaven? If your not sure don’t feel bad because Jesus disciples were not sure. But Jesus clarifies it that he is the only way to Heaven. We are not worthy to stand before God without being washed in the blood of Jesus.

If you lost a loved one or are worried about the future, take comfort in the words of Jesus. He has laid down his life for you and he has prepared a place for you, trust in Jesus and don’t let your heart be troubled anymore Amen

His Love Endures Forever

For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalms 100:5

Being a parent, we all have times when our children are being disobedient and disobeying our commands. Although we become angry at first, we quickly forgive because we love our children and our love endures forever for them.

This is the same with our Heavenly Father, there are many times we disobey his commands and probably sometimes we might even anger him, but his promise and love endures forever. We are his children and he loves us that much.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 1 Peter 1:3-4

Gods love and mercy was displayed by the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus. A love that is so great it could never be matched. And this love will endure forever as you are washed by the Blood of The Lamb. We love God because he loved us first. His covenant will endure forever.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are–yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:15-16

Many times when our children have done something wrong they will try to hide or hide it from us, for fear we won’t understand what they did. When in fact we usually know what they did before they even did it.

This is the same with God, many are afraid to approach him with there sin or think how could God ever understand me. The fact is Jesus was God in the Flesh, he knows the trials and temptations of being human.. He knows exactly who you are and how it feels to be you. So just like a parent, don’t be afraid to approach him for his love and mercy does endure forever.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34

So give thanks to God everyday for his love and mercy endures forever. And apply this to your everyday life, learn to love and forgive just as God loves and forgives you in Jesus Name Amen

Preach The Word

In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge:.2 Timothy 4:1

Jesus has commanded us to make disciples of all the nations not to sit in a Church pew each week and get credit for attendance. Have you told anyone about Jesus lately? You can make a difference between life and death with your testimony.

Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage–with great patience and careful instruction  2 Timothy 4:2

How can you preach the gospel if you don’t know the gospel? It’s important not only to study the Word of God for your own instruction but to lead others. There are many false prophets and false religions out there, you will be led astray if you don’t know the true Word of God.

Also we need to be kind and patient to those who don’t know the Bible, don’t be quick to judge and rebuke everyone. Be a true teacher of the Gospel.

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 2 Timothy 4:3-4

The time has come now, false prophets and false religions have flooded the world. Prosperity Gospel encouraging people to follow God so he can make us wealthy is Satanic. The true Gospel of Christ is to deny yourself, carry your cross , and follow Jesus.

Nobody wants to teach about Hell and Demons because its not profitable or popular. But Jesus spent a majority of his ministry teaching about them, if Jesus thought they were important to know about, I’m sure they are.

But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. 2 Timothy 4:5

Ministry is not glamorous, there are no mansions or private jets. If there are the ministry is producing bad fruit and is false. True Christians are called to love one another including the poor and needy. If any ministry is spending money excessively on material items then there not following Gods commandments and are following there own.

For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day–and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:6-8

Paul endured much persecution and suffering during his ministry, even to this day many still blasphemy his name. But he kept “fighting the good fight” because he knew this world is temporary but the Kingdom of God is forever. He has earned the “crown of righteousness” and we should strive to do the same as Ministers of Christ in Jesus Amen Amen

Don’t Repay Evil with Evil

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. Romans 12:17

It’s human nature to seek revenge when someone does us wrong. But does two wrongs make a right? The riots in Baltimore are a classic example of this. We originally started with one victim, but now it’s escalated to multiple victims. What justice did this accomplish?

If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Romans 12:18

Some will say Peace is impossible. But until everyone learns to love each other as themselves, there will never be Peace. Until you value your neighbors life as you value your own. Until the world accepts Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, it will never be possible. Only with God are all things possible.

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:19

Our God is a just God, he is in control. Don’t take revenge into your own hands, give it up to The Lord. When you defy God and take revenge in your own hands, your not only being rebellious, it’s Satanic. God is the law and justice.

On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Romans 12:20

You have heard the expression “Kill them with kindness” Good always defeats evil, as Jesus said only the Merciful will obtain Mercy. If your not merciful you will never receive Peace.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21

Evil will never overcome you unless you allow it, God can’t be defeated, if God is with us who can stand against us. Don’t give in to Evil, take a stand and stand with God.

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. Luke 23:34

Even as Jesus was hanging on the cross, he asked God to forgive everyone. We need to forgive also just like Jesus. Don’t take justice in your own hands, put it in the hands of God. Don’t repay Evil with Evil in Jesus name Amen
