And the light of Israel will become a fire and his Holy One a flame, And it will burn and devour his thorns and his briars in a single day. Isaiah 10:17

Its no mistake that God would reference his Holy One a flame and a fire. The coming of the Holy Spirit which was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost is referenced as a flame and fire throughout the Bible. So why fire? Because fire is used to transform , just as heat is used to forge things or transform a rock into a diamond. It is also used to devour and eliminate such as dead wood or brush

And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. Acts 2:3

When the Holy Spirit came to Jerusalem it was described as “tongues of fire” The Holy Spirit that was fortold by Jesus came to empower The Church. Just as the prophet Isaiah fortold the Holy One (the Holy Spirit) is a flame. How can the gospel of Christ be spread so quickly to establish the Church? The fire of the Holy Spirit, which broke down all nationalities and language barriers to bring everyone to salvation

for our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:29

God , the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is a consuming Fire! The fire that will empower and strengthen the lost and weak, the same flame that will devour the wicked and evil. Invite the Holy Spirit into your life today, the consuming fire in Jesus Name Amen!

The people who walk in darkness Will see a great light; Those who live in a dark land, The light will shine on them. Isaiah 9:2

Jesus is The Light of The World, he has brought hope and life, to a lost and broken world. Who are the people who walk in darkness? We all are, we are all sinners and condemned by the wages of our sins. However Jesus Christ, The Light of the World, took upon himself the penalty of our sins, so we can come out of the darkness

Who lives in a dark land? This is reference to us the Gentiles, who now through Jesus Christ can be children of God. Remember the Jewish people had a personal covenant with God and that excluded all Gentiles. Through Jesus Christ, he has created a New Covenant to allow us to be part of his eternal Kingdom

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” John 8:12

Jesus declared he is The Light of The World, fulfilling the Isaiah prophecies among many. Those who understood this prophecy, understood what Jesus was saying. Follow Jesus and come out of the darkness of this world. Only through Christ can we inherit eternal life and be a part of Gods Kingdom

Heavenly Father, thank you for the light given to us even though we don’t deserve it, may the world recognize this light and repent in Jesus Name Amen

When they say to you, “Consult the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter,” should not a people consult their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living? Isaiah 8:19

Who do you turn to in your time of need? Who do you thank when you are blessed?  In todays world we see people going to different sources for answers or maybe internal peace. People are consulting with fortune tellers, tarot cards, and Ouija boards. Any contact with the dead is strictly forbidden for a good reason, they are really demons!

Some people use these various methods out of desperation, some use them for entertainment. Regardless you are opening a portal to the demonic world. Jesus spent most of his ministry “casting out demons” from people. With all the evil in our world its easy to see that demons are still influencing and possessing people today. Don’t allow yourself to be overtaken by this evil

“Now He is not the God of the dead but of the living; for all live to Him.” Luke 20:38

Our God is a God of the living and not the dead, so why do you try to consult the dead for answers. True answers, True peace, True power comes from our God. Call upon God and he will send you The Holy Spirit for wisdom, peace, and strength. Don’t open the door for Satan, because Jesus Christ is the only door to eternal life Amen!

Heavenly Father, guard us from demons and evil, keep us protected under your wing , in Jesus Name Amen!

“Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14

The virgin birth of Jesus Christ is actually an often debated topic among Atheists and agnostics to disprove the credibility of Christianity. They usually point to false gods like Zeus, Tammuz, or Horus to claim Christianity stole the idea of the “Virgin Birth” from Greek Mythology.

First what Atheists fail to understand is the “Virgin Birth” was first prophesied by Isaiah 700 years before Jesus was born. This was not an idea or concept generated by Christians, this was Judaism prophecy fulfilled.

Second if your really examine the stories of Zeus, Horus,Tammuz ect. None of their stories even come close to resembling the story of Jesus Christ. These are misleading claims that most take for granted without every really examining the evidence.

So why did God use a Virgin Birth to deliver our Savior? Well Jesus first mission was to become “The Lamb of God” to take away the sins of the world. In order for Jesus to accomplish this, he had to remain sinless. Being born through a Virgin by the Holy Spirit is the way God accomplished this.

What about Immanuel? This is actually a title and not a name. Just like Christ meaning Messiah is a title for Jesus and not his name. Immanuel means “God is with us” meaning God became human to dwell among us here and died for our sins.

Heavenly Father, we pray that the world comes to know you through your Son, we pray everyone comes to salvation in Jesus Name Amen!

In that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth will be the pride and the adornment of the survivors of Israel. Isaiah 4:2

Who is “The Branch Of The Lord”? And who are the survivors of Israel?

Throughout the book of Isaiah we see the Messiah being referred to as “The Branch of The Lord”.  Isaiah later clearly identifies who the Messiah is with prophecies in Chapter 7, 9, 11, 53, ect. All these prophecies are fulfilled by Jesus Christ, Isaiah by the Holy Spirit clearly revealed  Jesus is the Messiah, God in the flesh that Israel and the world has long be waiting for

Think of a branch, its fully connected to the trunk of a tree. They are in total unison of each other yet separate. This is exactly how the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit relationship works. The Trinity is One God fully in unison with three entities.

‘In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch of David to spring forth; and He shall execute justice and righteousness on the earth. Jeremiah 33:15

The prophet Jeremiah by the Holy Spirit also describes the Messiah, Jesus Christ, as a Branch. Jesus fulfilled these prophecies through Joseph registering him in the census as the line of David

The survivors of Israel are the remnant of Jews who have accepted Jesus as the Messiah (Christ). There will come a day as prophesied in Zechariah that Christ will deliver the Jewish people as the Lion of Judah and they will accept him as the Son of God

I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. Romans 11:1

As Paul taught God has not forgotten the Jewish people, just as there was a remnant in Elijahs day , there will also be a remnant during Christs returns. As prophesied in Revelation 7, there will be the 12 tribes of Israel around the throne of Jesus Christ. God makes a promise and he keeps it, God does not change!
