And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 12:3

At first glance this only appears to be a prophecy about Israel. However as you see at the end of the scripture, it says “All The Earth Will Be Blessed”. How and Why are the questions? Well it started with Abraham and ended with Jesus Christ!

Little did Abraham know or understand , that his promised seed of Isaac would eventually lead to the Messiah. As God told Abraham “You would have descendants as numerous as the stars and sand on the shore” (Genesis 26:4, Genesis 22:17)

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. Galatians 3:8-9

The Apostle Paul clarifies this, that we are all justified by faith in God just as Abraham was. Its by faith in Christ you are saved, not by your works. Same with Abraham it was his faith in God that saved him and not his works.

Second we through Jesus Christ are spiritual descendants of Abraham. The entire world will be blessed through Jesus Christ! The Messianic Seed that was promised since the beginning in Genesis. The word Heathen here is used interchangeably with Gentile

Understand that the Bible is a continuous book in complete harmony with each other. God had a redemption plan for humanity and it was through Jesus Christ! Amen

And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. Genesis 11:4

The Tower of Babel was another example of humanity’s efforts to wage war against God. Not long ago God cleansed the Earth from evil with the global flood, it didn’t take humans long to continue their rebellious ways and show a clear hatred for their Creator

The Tower of Babel was supposed to be a structure that would reach the Heavens and make a great name for themselves. We still see this in todays society, humans continue to build large architecture to display their power and dominance.

And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. Genesis 11:6-7

God had a simple solution to resolve this issue, he would confuse their language. Remember God promised with his covenant with Noah never to flood the Earth again. So rather than destroy humanity again, he just confused them

The word Babel actually means confusion. As it todays language we might hear someone say they are “babbling” or “baby babble” the word is derived from this event

So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. Genesis 11:8-9

God confirms in the scriptures, he confused the languages of the Earth to disperse everyone on the Earth. This is why we have many different languages and countries today.

And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. Revelation 17:5

So you might say , “what does any of this have to do with me today” Well Satan continues to kingdom of Earth today called “Spiritual Babylon” this is a spiritual kingdom that is still at war with God and its main purpose to bring confusion to people to lead them astray. Spiritual Babylon will try to control the entire world through power of money, politics, entertainment, any influence it can

Eventually this Kingdom will be destroyed forever by Christ! Be careful whos influence you are under!

And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein. Genesis 9:7

When we look at the social issues of today, abortion , homosexuality, euthanasia, suicide, ect, we see that all these issues have something in common. They go against the direct orders of God and his creation. God told us to be fruitful and multiply. Think about what the previous issues I mentioned result in

The ways of the world contradict Gods plan for humanity. Jesus said Satans agenda is to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10) All these social issues fit that agenda. They are to take away life rather than to be fruitful and multiply

And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. Genesis 9:12-13

God made a covenant with humanity that he will never flood the Earth again. What was the sign of this covenant, of course a rainbow. Do you think its just coincidence that the LGTBQ community stole the symbol of the rainbow? No this is a direct attack and defiance about God Almighty

I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. Matthew 22:32

As Jesus stated God is a God of the living and not the dead. He created life and wants it to be fruitful. Look at the movies, TV shows, books, everything in this world is centered around death. Its in complete contradiction to God

If you want eternal life, come to Jesus Christ, the only way, the only truth , and the only life Amen!

And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. Genesis 8:11

I like in the beginning of the Chapter it states “God remembered Noah” (Genesis 8:1) Noah, his family, and all the animals were on the Ark for almost a year (some estimate 364 days others 370 days) At some point Noah I had to think God had forgotten about him. There were probably times during the fierce storms when Noahs kids would ask him “When will this be over?” and Noah would just have to wait on God

But God kept his promise as he always does. And notice what animal Noah uses to confirm their freedom? A dove came back with an olive leaf symbolizing hope and peace to Noah and his family. This symbol is still used today, as many have adopted the dove as a symbol of peace and hope.

And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. Luke 3:22

Notice when Jesus was baptized, the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove descended upon him. Think about it Noah and his family went through the water purification of the Earth in the flood then the dove descended to him. Jesus after he went through the water baptism had the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove descend on him.

Noah, the ark, the flood, and the dove were all foreshadows of Christ to come for the hope and peace of the world. God has not forgotten about you either, come to Christ and be saved today! Amen!

And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in. Genesis 7:16

One of the interesting things about this event, is when Noah and his family built the Ark and loaded all the animals into it, God shut the door. The final work of salvation was completed by God and not man. As Noah and his family hunkered down into the Ark, while outside the world was literally in total devastation. Judgement was being brought to the entire world, except for Noah and his family who found grace in God

The seal on the door of the Ark , was the only thing from keeping Noahs family safe from death. They could trust in this seal, because it was a supernatural seal. Not a seal made by human hands that are flawed but from a perfect God who never fails.

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13

God continues to seal those who have been saved by his grace through Jesus Christ. The seal of the Holy Spirit, is a supernatural seal that will never fail or forsake you! It’s a seal that God knows who is his children and who will face the final judgement

Don’t rely on your own works to try and produce your salvation, because you will fail. Rely on the grace of God through Jesus Christ, who will seal you with the Holy Spirit Amen!
