As he had come naked from his mother’s womb, so will he return as he came. He will take nothing from the fruit of his labor that he can carry in his hand.

“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
Last night talking to my 5 year old, he was saying to me “You can get anything from Amazon” then he started listed off all the things you can buy from Amazon. And he’s right , you can buy a lot of stuff from Amazon, however this got me thinking…
The important things we cant buy from Amazon, for example salvation. We can’t buy our own Salvation from Amazon or Walmart, this is not something we are even capable of purchasing. Some might say, “Your thinking to far into this” but think about it, where can you obtain your salvation?
Some might say, why do we need salvation? What is salvation? The definition of salvation is deliverance or preservation. The fact is, whether your religious or not, your going to die someday. Where are you going to go when you die? You don’t know? Shouldn’t you find out? Shouldn’t you ponder the purpose of your life and your destination?
Regardless of what your “worldview” is, you have to deal with the questions about mortality, because it’s a reality for everyone. Death is not exclusive, it doesn’t just swallow up the Christians or the Jews, it swallows up everyone including Atheists and Agnostics.
For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:20
Guess what , those who believe in Christ, have been bought with a price. What is that price? The price was the debt Jesus paid on the cross. The suffering , the anguish, the humiliation that he suffered was to buy you Salvation.
So if your looking to buy Salvation, look to the only one who can pay the price, Jesus Christ. Come to the Cross, Come to Jesus Christ Amen!

All go to the same place. All came from the dust and all return to the dust.

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! Galatians 1:8
Is your Church teaching you the correct Gospel? How important is it to know the correct Gospel? Well Paul says if your preaching the wrong Gospel you will be cursed! These are strong words, none of us want to be cursed by God, we want the grace of God. So better know we are following the correct Jesus
What doctrine does your Church believe? Does it really matter as long as you go to Church? Yes, following false preachers and false doctrines could have you be cursed by God! If you truly love Jesus, wouldn’t you study his teachings to know the truth?
For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10
Paul goes on to say Are you trying to get approval from God or Man? Many “good Christians” are compromising their beliefs so they can remain in “good standing” with their Church. If your Church is teaching Heresy , its time to move on. Problem is most Christians don’t care about doctrine enough to even know what the doctrine of their Church is.
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 1 Corinthians 15:3-5
So what is the Gospel? Here it is summed up by Paul, Jesus died for our sins and then was resurrected on the 3rd day so we may have eternal life. Anyone who is preaching another gospel is cursed! Don’t worry about obtaining favor from men, obtain grace from God through Jesus Christ Amen!

There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven-

But Jacob said, “First sell me your birthright.” Genesis 25:31
Jacob and Esau were the sons of Isaac. They were twins, however they didn’t look anything alike. Esau was born first, therefor he would inherit a “double” portion from his Father. The first born son was always held in highest regards in the Jewish culture.
During this moment, Esau was very hungry and was willing to give up anything to feed his fleshly desires. Jacob used this moment to entice Esau to give away his eternal birthright for one temporary meal. Is a temporary moment worth your eternal inheritance?
Esau said, “Behold, I am about to die; so of what use then is the birthright to me?” Genesis 25:32
However Esau didn’t really value his birthright. He valued the temporary of the moment more than he valued the eternity of his birthright. Esau was looking at the world from the temporary perspective and not an eternal perspective.
Then Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew; and he ate and drank, and rose and went on his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright. Genesis 25:34
After the moment of hunger passed, Esau regretted what he did. He was probably thinking to himself
“ How could I have sold my birthright for a bowl of stew”? A temporary pleasure that had eternal consequences. This is exactly what happens when we live in Sin. Giving in to temporary pleasures has eternal consequences.
Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” Galatians 4:4
Through Christ we have been given an eternal birthright into the Kingdom of God. Will you sell your birthright for your Sin? Don’t be a fool like Esau, keep an eternal perspective on life and not a temporary outlook Amen!

And I saw that wisdom excels folly as light excels darkness.

Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were younger, you used to gird yourself and walk wherever you wished; but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will gird you, and bring you where you do not wish to go.” John 21:18
This was a prophecy Jesus gave to Peter about how his life would end. The ironic thing is the disciples took this message by Jesus to mean they would life forever, however Jesus was telling them the opposite. Jesus was telling Peter he was going to be persecuted and eventually killed because of his faith in Christ
Historical documentation states that Peter was crucified in Rome upside down on a cross. Some suggest Peter requested to be put upside down on the cross, because he was not worthy to die the same death as Christ. However notice the eerie prophecy by Jesus, he told Peter “You will stretch out your hands” meaning you will be crucified for your faith
Now this He said, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, “Follow Me!” John 21:19
Jesus was prophesying to Peter and the other Apostles, that they would be put to death to glorify God. I know this isn’t what modern Christianity teaches or prosperity gospel. Are you willing to lay down your life for the Lord?
Peter was called “The Rock” by Jesus yet his fate would be crucified upside down on a cross. How does this make sense? Because our Kingdom is not of this world, we live in a fallen and broken world. Prepare yourselves for Gods Kingdom, prepare yourselves for eternity, not the temporary Amen!

That which has been is that which will be, And that which has been done is that which will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun.
