For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. Romans 8:2

This may not be a popular statement, but EVERYONE is a slave! You are either a slave to sin and death or you’re a slave to Jesus Christ. A lot of people misunderstand this concept of slavery, when I talk about slavery I don’t mean a forced slavery, this is a voluntary slavery. When you choose to not follow Christ and pursue sin, you choose to become a slave to Satan. If you choose Jesus as your Lord (Master) then you choose to be a bondservant, a voluntary slave or servant for Jesus Christ, who is the only one who can release you from the curse of sin and death

Some might say “Well I’m an Atheist” “I don’t believe in any of this stuff” , well even if you don’t believe in God, I can guarantee you’re a sinner. Because we were all sinners at one time. So if you sin you are a slave

Some might say “Well I still live Under The Law” , the Law was never a means for salvation. The purpose of The Law was for us to know what sin is and how God expects us to live. Jesus is the Living Word, he is The Law fulfilled. Does that mean we disregard The Law, NO, but we don’t use it as a means for salvation

Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. Matthew 5:17

Jesus Christ has fulfilled The Law, what does that mean? It means if you want to be set free from sin and death, become a slave of Jesus Christ. He is the only way to the Father in Jesus Name Amen!

“Woe to the rebellious children,” declares the LORD, “Who execute a plan, but not Mine, And make an alliance, but not of My Spirit, In order to add sin to sin; Isaiah 30:1

This message is very relevant to the modern day Church. Just as Israel tried to incorporate sin into the doctrine of God. We see Churches changing their stance on same sex marriage and homosexuality, we see many changing doctrines on who Jesus really is. Notice God said “This is Not My Plan”!

The problem with religion is we try to mold and form it to conform to our ways rather than conform to Gods ways. Rather than denying ourselves to Christ, we are trying to redefine Christ so we don’t have to die. Your old self must die before you can become Born Again! You cant continue to be rebellious and be a servant of Christ

For this is a rebellious people, false sons, Sons who refuse to listen To the instruction of the LORD; Isaiah 30:9

Rebellious people who refuse to listen to Gods instructions, sounds familiar? This was Israel, this is the modern day Church.  As God said “This is not of My Spirit”, the modern day Church is not being led by the Holy Spirit. They are being led by the world and they are misleading millions away from God

Heavenly Father, we pray for the Church, we pray the Holy Spirit will convict and sanctify the remnant , in Jesus Name Amen!

What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? May it never be! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “YOU SHALL NOT COVET.” Romans 7:7

Often when we talk about The Law or Torah, people have a negative perception. They get defensive that the Bible is “judgmental” or say “nobody can meet these standards” ect. Well the answer is Yes and Yes. If you truly want to know God you need to know The Law or Torah, because this is his essence.

The Bible says we are all sinners, but how can we know what sin is unless we have The Law? This is exactly what Paul is trying to teach us here. We can’t know our ways are wrong unless we have a standard to judge those ways. For example, if you didn’t have a mirror, you wouldn’t know there was a mark on your face. Because you cant see your own face without a mirror.

The Law, The Torah is good. Its not something to despise or run away from. It allows us to reflect upon ourselves and see how we can be righteous. But you say, we are all guilty of breaking The Law and are sentenced to death. This is correct, this is why we need Jesus Christ, to save us from our sins. Without The Law we wouldn’t need Jesus

As in water face reflects face, So the heart of man reflects man. Proverbs 27:19

Just as The Law reflects our life, so our heart reflects us. The Law of God is good, it’s a blueprint for living a Holy Life, we are freed from penalty of The Law through Jesus Christ. Rejoice in Jesus Name Amen!

In that day the LORD will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, With His fierce and great and mighty sword, Even Leviathan the twisted serpent; And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea. Isaiah 27:1

Guess what, God wins and Satan is defeated! Leviathan is a sea monster, that is referenced throughout the Old Testament (Job, Psalms, Amos, Isaiah) its modern reference is a dragon, which we see in the book of Revelation

The great beast (Leviathan,Dragon) is symbolic for Satans and his powerful kingdom here on Earth, that has influenced and deceived the masses. We can see Satans influence everywhere in the world including music, movies, and even religion. Satan controls people to do his evil by rewarding them with their own sinful desires. However the end result is always the same, Satan loses and God wins!

And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Revelation 20:10

Satan (the devil) is symbolically referenced as the dragon/leviathan. Eventually God is going to purge the Earth of all its evil and throw it in the Lake of Fire to restore Gods Kingdom (Paradise) Don’t be deceived by this world, this world is ran by Satan. Repent (Turn away) from evil and follow Jesus Christ to eternal life!

Satans only obejective is to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10)…Jesus came to give eternal life…Choose wisely!

“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44

Jesus called the religious leaders “Children of Satan” Why? Because these men believed since they were children of Abraham , that they were saved no matter what they did. These men were supposed to be the high priest for God, yet they were plotting to kill the Son of God

We have the same problem today in Christianity! Many “Churches” keep throwing around the “Grace” card as if it’s a ticket to sin. Some “Christians” believe no matter what they do, they will still inherit eternal life. You cant be children of Satan and walk with God, you cant serve two Masters!

“Later the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’ “But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ Matthew 25:11-12

Todays Christianity reminds me of the parable of the 10 Virgins, we have half of Christians who are true and the other half who are fake. They all appear to be Christian, but half don’t have the Holy Spirit (oil for their lamps) And when Jesus returns he tells half of them “I don’t know You”!

Don’t be like the religious leaders, don’t like the lost ten Virgins, make sure you are being led by The Holy Spirit and not being led by religion in Jesus Name Amen!

Then the Lord said, “Because this people draw near with their words And honor Me with their lip service, But they remove their hearts far from Me, And their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote, Isaiah 29:13

Jesus referenced this scripture when he was rebuking the religious leaders. The religious leaders went through their daily religious rituals , however their hearts were far from God. Their hearts were so far from God that they didn’t even recognize God in the flesh standing before them, and crucified him

Today we are seeing this on a large scale at most “Christian” churches. They got through their religious rituals of service, but the Churches heart is far from God. The doctrine most Churches are teaching today is total blasphemy.

People have this false sense of security , they believe  if they practice religious traditions, that they are going to be saved. Traditions and practices don’t save you, only the blood of Jesus Christ can save you!

Therefore behold, I will once again deal marvelously with this people, wondrously marvelous; And the wisdom of their wise men will perish, And the discernment of their discerning men will be concealed.” Isaiah 29:14

God deals with the blasphemous Church, the Holy Spirit is removed and their doctrine and practices become that of human tradition and nothing more. If you wonder why some of the Churches today, their doctrine is so far from the Bible, its because God has left the building. All these nice little fund raisers and social gatherings are meaningless unless you are worshiping God in Spirit and Truth!
