I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. Romans 14:14

Pagan symbols is often something that gets debated a lot in Christianity, for example the symbol of the Cross. A Roman torture device used by a Pagan society was thought to have brought the end of a movement (Christianity) that would change the world. Instead we know the story , on that Pagan Roman Cross, Jesus defeated sin and death.

Today many Christians wear a cross as a reminder of what God has done for us. A reminder of how we desperately need a savior from our wickedness. However some Christians, oppose the symbol of the Cross because of its Pagan roots, this is where we get into circular debates

Jesus defeated everything! All powers of darkness and evil are put under his feet. Jesus defeated Paganism, there is no force greater than the blood of Christ.

As Paul was saying here “there is nothing unclean of itself” meaning People are given specific objects and days purpose and power not the objects themselves. Stop creating unnecessary arguments for the sake of arguments. If Jesus is truly your Lord, then he is Lord over ALL

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:20

The Kingdom of God is not about practices and symbols, its about worshipping God. Don’t allow these arguments to be a stumbling block towards ones faith. Let the cross be a symbol of hope and not dissension. Amen!

A voice is calling, “Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. Isaiah 40:3

John the Baptist was the voice in the wilderness, he was the messenger for our Lord Jesus Christ. His message was simple, Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand (Matthew 3:2) Jesus is The Way and  Repentance is clearing the way to get to our Father. Nobody can come to the Father except through Christ and you cant get to Christ without Repentance!

Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” Isaiah 40:5

The Glory of God has been revealed through Jesus Christ! The world seen God in the Flesh, yet they didn’t know him and even killed him. This is because the world doesn’t know God, religion doesn’t lead you to God. Only the blood of Jesus Christ can lead you to God. The Word became Flesh and dwelt among us!

A voice says, “Call out.” Then he answered, “What shall I call out?” All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades, When the breath of the LORD blows upon it; Surely the people are grass. Isaiah 40:6-7

People love to argue about their ideas on salvation and life. There is no debate, you are a creation and we have a Creator! You don’t get to make up your own eternity, God is the author and finisher of life. However he showed love and mercy and gave us redemption through Jesus Christ!

Are you on the broad path to destruction or the narrow path to eternal life through Jesus Christ?

The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Romans 13:12

We often hear about putting on the “Armor of God” to defend against Satan but how about the “Armor of Light”? Paul says to “Lay aside the deeds of darkness” what is he talking about? He’s talking about Sin. When we come to Christ and become Christians we cant keep on sinning like our old self, this is not a true conversion

Many Churches today want to preach about Grace but don’t want to address Repentance. You are not truly a Christian unless you Repent, meaning turn away from your sin, put on the “Armor of Light” meaning to live more like Jesus Christ

Let us behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy. Romans 13:13

Paul continues to explain what hes talking about, if your truly a Christian you cant behave like a sinner! Some might say “well its to hard not to sin” Yes truly becoming a Christian is very difficult, that’s why God sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in us. We must avoid any temptation that leads us to sin, that’s why we become set apart from the world

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts. Romans 13:14

Be more like Christ and “Make No Provision For The Flesh” meaning don’t make any excuses for your sins. We need to cut out all sin in our lives, we know its not going to be easy but that’s why we need the “Armor of Light” in Jesus Christ

Think of it as being on a diet, when your eating healthy you know there are foods and drinks that you should avoid and not consume, this is the same with sin. There are temptations we know we should avoid and stay away from. Ask for the Holy Spirit to guide you in Jesus Name Amen

Say to those with anxious heart, “Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; The recompense of God will come, But He will save you.” Isaiah 35:4

We live in a time period with an “anxious heart”. The world seems out of control, We keep trying to conform to the world to feel acceptance, but the more we conform the more anxiety grows! Research has shown, that Facebook is making people more depressed and anxious. We live in a Narcissist society, everyone is trying to compete with everyone on acquiring more objects or live an exciting life. However this never brings inner Peace or Hope!

Then the eyes of the blind will be opened And the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. Then the lame will leap like a deer, And the tongue of the mute will shout for joy. For waters will break forth in the wilderness And streams in the Arabah. Isaiah 35:5-6

God has already saved us through Jesus Christ! The Prince of Peace is the only way to acquiring true inner peace. This cant be bought or purchased by us, this was bought by the blood of Christ on the cross at Calvary.

When you finally come to Christ, your spiritual blindness and spiritual deafness is finally cured. You will see and hear the word of God by the Holy Spirit. Don’t waste your time chasing after the world, chase after God in Jesus Name Amen!

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

What is wrong with Christianity today? It has conformed to the world, the Church has changed its doctrines and beliefs to accommodate the sins of mankind. Instead of the Church telling people the true gospel of Repentance, and changing from your sin. The modern day Church is embracing peoples sins conforming itself to be popular with the world

This is not transforming! If you’re the same person after you came to Christ, you are not truly saved. What is your testimony? Did Jesus truly save your from the bondage of your sin or are you still enslaved by that sin? Stop conforming to the world, become transformed through Jesus Christ!

“You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved. Matthew 10:22

Jesus said “The World will hate you because of him” If your Church or yourself is popular with the world then you probably have done a lot of conforming. Why does the world hate Jesus? Because first the world is ruled by Satan (2 Corinthians 4:4) Second people love their sin more than they love God. Why are people so offended by the true Gospel of Jesus Christ? Because it requires a change to righteousness.

Stop conforming to the world, what does it profit to gain the whole world and lose your soul (Mark 8:36) Amen

For the LORD’S indignation is against all the nations, And His wrath against all their armies; He has utterly destroyed them, He has given them over to slaughter. Isaiah 34:2

There will come a time of Judgement for the entire world, notice God said “against all nations”. The period of grace will be coming to an end and judgement is coming. Its time for you to get right with God, its time for you to stop putting off your salvation and get saved by the blood of Jesus Christ

All throughout the Bible, God warns us of the wrath that will come to those who rebel against God. Many Christians today want to “water down” the message of the Gospel but Jesus is your only salvation! Repent or Perish, its really that simple

Seek from the book of the LORD, and read: Not one of these will be missing; None will lack its mate. For His mouth has commanded, And His Spirit has gathered them.  Isaiah 34:16

This is an interesting scripture, God is telling us to search “The book of The Lord” (The Bible) and none of these will be missing. Its telling us to check the prophecies that were fortold and verify they have been completed.

God has already told us the beginning to the end, we know the future because God has already revealed it to us, and without Christ you are cursed. The King of Kings is returning soon to restore Gods Kingdom, you are either with him or against him
