Blasphemy
But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin “—Mark 3:29
Are you a good person? Most people would say Yes, I’m a good person. But have you ever blasphemed God or used the Lords name in vain? If people are being honest , they most likely would answer Yes also.
Working in the public sector in business offices, I can’t tell you how many times on a daily basis I hear people using the Lords name in vein repeatedly. It puzzles me how people find it offensive to say a “curse” word but its ok to use the Lords name in vain repeatedly. This conduct does have serious consequences as Jesus stated.
Think about it, the only one who can forgive and redeem you of your sins, is the one you are cursing. Its common sense if your blaspheming God, there is no reason why you should be forgiven.
So what does “Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit” really mean? The definition of Blasphemy means act or offense of speaking sacrilegiously about God or sacred things, profane talk. The original Greek word is “blasphemia” which means to slander or speak evil of
When Jesus was correcting the Pharisees on Blasphemy they were accusing him of doing works for Satan instead of God. In other words they were Anti-Christs, denying the power and authority of Jesus Christ as the Son of God.
Blasphemy really comes down to that, are you a Christian or an Ant-Christ. Is Jesus your Lord and Savior or do you mock the Word of God? God reads the hearts and minds of everyone (Jeremiah 17:10) He knows whether you are guilty of Blasphemy or not, accept Christ as your Lord and Savior, let him give you a clean heart and renewed mind, in Jesus Name Amen
Pray For Jerusalem
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.
Psalms 122:6 NASB
New Name
The nations will see your righteousness, And all kings your glory; And you will be called by a new name Which the mouth of the LORD will designate. Isaiah 62:2
Are you ready to be designated a new name by God? So what does this actually mean? If we look throughout history, our names typically represented who we are or our occupation. For example Smith was for a Blacksmith , Mason is for a masonary, ect. Ect.
Well the same is throughout the Bible, Hebrew names always had a specific meaning. For example the name Jesus , which the original Hebrew translation is Yeshua means “Salvation of God”. He was given that specific name to show the world he is the Messiah or Savior of the world.
Throughout the Bible also names were changed, for example Jacobs name was changed to Israel. Why? Well the meaning of the word Israel means to “wrestle with God” “Triumphant with God” , if we remember Jacob wresteld with the Angel (Genesis 32) Jacob also had 12 sons which represented the 12 tribes of Israel. Jacobs destiny was established by his new name.
Fast forward to the New Testament, Jesus changed Peters name from Simon. Why? Because the Hebrew meaning of Peter is “Rock” Jesus was entrusting Peter to build the Christian Church when he ascended to Heaven. Therefor Jesus gave him a New Name and his divine destiny.
This is the same for us, God has a divine destiny and purpose for us all. When God says he will call you by a “New Name” means he is going to reveal his purpose for our lives. As Jesus said “Many are called but few are chosen “ (Matthew 22:14) Many people don’t accept their calling by God, don’t miss your calling in Jesus Name Amen
My Help Comes From
The Great Physician
And hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Mark 2:17
Who needs Jesus? Since we are all sinners , we all need Jesus (Romans 3:23) We all need to come to the realization, we have a sin problem. Once you understand that, you understand why Jesus came here and died for you!
Who did Jesus come for? Everyone. Jesus came to save the whole world not just the righteous. At the cross, Jesus paid the price for the wages of our sins. Jesus came for you, repent of your sins and accept Jesus into your heart and become transformed.
We need to remember Jesus is “The Great Physician”. By his wounds we are healed (Isaiah 9:6) If your in need of healing or salvation today, turn to Jesus . Everyone who calls upon the name of The Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13)
Jesus didn’t come to condemn you , but to save you. To set you free from the bondages of sin and disease. Call upon The Great Physician; let God transform your life in ways the world couldn’t imagine in Jesus Name Amen
The Good News
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, Because the LORD has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives And freedom to prisoners;
Isaiah 61:1
Have you heard the “Good News”? The word “Gospel” in the Bible means “Good News”. So when you read the Gospels of Jesus Christ, your reading the Good News of our Salvation through Jesus Christ. The Gospel should never be perceived as bad because it’s the only hope for the salvation of humanity.
The Gospel has the power to change lives, some people happily receive it while others violently oppose it. But everyone is moved by the Living Words of God because its sharper than a two edge sword, judging the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12)
When you receive and understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ, you are set free. You understand that Satan has set temptations in this world as a trap , to enslave and destroy us. Jesus wants to set you free! The Gospel is meant to be the Living Water for your soul, to bring joy and victory to Gods children.
Its important you study the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), the Good News of Christ and know what God has already done for you and the victory we already have over this world in Jesus Name Amen
In My Trouble
Rebuke Satan
And Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” Mark 1:25
Are you rebuking your demons? When Jesus was asked to heal someone or cleanse them of demons, he didn’t half heartily send up a prayer. Jesus rebuked any demons, sickness, illness, or anything Satan tried to trap us with. Why? Because greater is he living inside of us then he that is living in the world (1 John 4:4)
Demons tremble at the name of Jesus ( James 2:19) You need to understand when you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are covered by his blood. The most powerful blood that has overcome the world. There is no demon or sickness that can overcome the Great I AM.
So next time you pray for a healing or a miracle. Pray with authority. Rebuke your demons and sickness. Some will say this is crazy, but remember if you don’t have any faith, you cant expect Gods miracles to happen. If we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains. (Matthew 17:20)
Am I saying that tragedies or trials won’t happen? No , but what I’m saying is we are in a Spiritual Warfare. When were going to pray , do it with the authority of Jesus Christ. By his wounds or stripes we are healed (Isaiah 9:6)
When Jesus was being tempted by Satan in the wilderness, he told Satan , get away from me! (Matthew 4:10) So if you’re looking for healing or a miracle, rebuke the source of your problems in Jesus Name Amen
