Peace With God

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 5:1

Do you have inner peace? Did you know peace can be obtained? The world is always searching for peace, nations spend trillions of dollars on weapons and warfare. While people spend billions on drugs, books, and doctors. What is everyone searching for, we are all searching for Peace.

The only way we can truly obtain peace is through the “Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6) Jesus Christ. Sounds cliché but the blood of Christ has the power to transform your life. What do I mean by the Blood? The reason nobody has peace is because we are all guilty, we have all fallen short and are sinners (Romans 3:23) you are being convicted by the Holy Spirit, which produces guilt.

But since God loves us and wants us to be his children, he sent Jesus to be our atoning sacrifice, to take the wages of our sins. When you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior you become baptized by the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:11) This is when your transformation comes, and you give up living for the world that keeps you in chains. But live for God that sets your free.

Now our justification comes through faith. Faith is an action, until you confess your sins and accept into your heart that Jesus is your Lord and Savior, your justification can’t happen. So if you want the Peace of God , you can obtain it through Jesus Christ Amen

Throwing Stones

But when they persisted in asking Him, He straightened up, and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.” John 8:7

Are you guilty of throwing stones? People thought they were going to outsmart Jesus and trap him into condemning a sinner to death. But what Jesus did was use this as a teaching moment for everyone. As Jesus said, whoever is without sin, go ahead and condemn the woman. But as we all know, we all are sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)

Even though we are all sinners, we love to throw stones at other people. Why is this? Why can’t we look in the mirror and convict ourselves as easily? Jesus is teaching these people, stop worrying about other people’s sin, worry about your own sin. When we condemn other people, we condemn ourselves (Romans 2:1)

Jesus taught us judgment is not ours, do not judge or you will be judged (Matthew 7:1) This is a tough lesson to learn, we love to condemn and judge people. But the only one you are condemning is yourself. Jesus said “All power and authority on Earth and Heaven has been given to him ( 28:18)

So stop trying to play God, look in the mirror. Are you able to stand before The Lord with your actions and words? Don’t worry about things that are not yours to worry about, prepare yourself for the coming of The Lord in Jesus Name Amen

Glory To God

“He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. John 7:18

Are you speaking for yourself or God? We see many preachers and pastors speaking in front of the masses but are they doing it for their own glory or Gods? When you name your ministry after yourself and put your name on every piece of literature your Church has, is that really for Gods glory?

I always think about how John the Baptist ran his ministry, he said Jesus must increase or become greater and I must decrease or become less. (John 3:30) What’s he saying? He was saying this ministry is not about me but about the Glory of God. His ministry was about announcing to the world, the Messiah, Jesus, and leading people to repentance to become prepared for the Kingdom of God

John the Baptist never collected money from anyone, his clothes were made of camel’s hair and ate locust and wild honey. (Matthew 3:4) Yet Jesus called him the greatest of prophets (Luke 7:28) So why are all the modern day preachers collecting everyone’s money and buying million dollar homes? Do they really think Jesus will let them enter the Kingdom of Heaven? Jesus said depart from me your evil doers, workers of lawlessness, I never knew you (Matthew 7:22-23)

If you’re going to speak for God, let him speak. Don’t create your own agenda in the name of Jesus.  And whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31) in Jesus Name Amen

Thankful Hearts

Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. John 6:11

Are you in need of something today that God has not provided? When we read the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000 on only 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, we should take note how he asked God. Jesus didn’t go into a long drawn out prayer with God, he gave thanks to God and then he provided. See God already knows our needs before we ask for them (Matthew 6:8)

Instead of continually beg God for a specific need; why not first come to him with thanksgiving for the things he has already provided? When we learn to truly trust in God, we can have the peace of God by knowing he will provide. Am I saying we should never ask for anything specific? No because your Heavenly Father wants to hear from you and it pleases him to give it to you. (Luke 12:32) However we need to have a thankful heart first. We can’t always be in a state of need that is not true faith.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Whatever storm you may be facing or thing you may be lacking, we need to have the faith that God will provide all of our needs. When we realize this, and believe it, we can have the Peace of God in the Eye of the Storm. There is nothing impossible with God (Matthew 19:26) Be thankful today for your present blessings and your Father will be pleased to provide for you tomorrow in Jesus Name Amen

Deceptive Religions

But look, you are trusting in deceptive words that are worthless. Jeremiah 7:8

Are you following a deceptive religion or preacher? In the book of Jeremiah, the Israelite’s were worshiping pagan gods. They were putting their faith in false gods to the point they were sacrificing their own children  God had enough! Every time they sent offerings to these false gods they provokes and angered our Heavenly Father even more. We need to make sure that we are worshiping God in Spirit and Truth (John 4:24) and not the deception of Satan

Is the doctrine that you are following from the Bible or man? Many people put their trust in a church or preacher but how do you know you are following the truth? The only way to know is to study your Bible for yourself. Theres been a major epidemic of Bible Illiteracy in Christianity. Statistics show 1 in 5 Christians have never read the Bible, 1 in 4 read the Bible once a year, 40% of Christians read it once a month, only 45% of Christians read the Bible more than once a week. How can you know the truth if you don’t know The Bible?

Jesus said I am the Way, Truth, and Life nobody comes to The Father (God) except through me. (John 14:6) If you want a good place to start, read the gospels (Matthew, Mark,Luke, and John) Jesus is the Living Word, if you truly want to get to know God, get to know his Son.  “”Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)

Don’t blindly follow any man or religion. Know God for yourself. The only way you can know God is through his Son (Jesus Christ), the only way you can know Jesus Christ is through the Word of God and The Holy Spirit. Don’t trust in the deceptive religions of the world, they are worthless in Jesus Name Amen

Get Up!

When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, “Do you wish to get well?” John 5:6

Do you wish to get well? Some may think this is a dumb question, of course we all want to get well. But remember our faith determines Gods miracles. A lot of times we already defeat ourselves because of our lack of faith. Jesus is talking to you today, “Do you really want to get well?”

The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” John 5:7

This man has been disabled for most his life, and he pretty much gave up. When Jesus asked him why he didn’t get into the water, he made excuses. Am I saying his excuses are not valid? No , we all have valid excuses to give up on life. This is exactly what Satan wants to do, to give up hope and lose all faith.  But Jesus is still asking you today, Do you want to get well?

Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” John 5:8

Jesus showed his love and compassion for the man and told him to “Get Up!”. Remember action justifies your faith. Without works your faith is dead. Jesus is calling you today, to Get Up, all those who want to be healed! Come to the cross, repent your sins, and earn a new eternal life. By the stripes we are healed in Jesus Name Amen
