Jesus said to him, Thomas, because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. John 20:29
Why did Jesus say Blessed are those who have not seen but still believed? Because Jesus knows it takes true faith to believe in the unseen. It takes the faith of Moses to part the Red Sea, it takes the faith of David to slay a giant with a sling shot, it takes the faith of Peter to walk on water with Jesus.
When we display this deep faith, it pleases our Heavenly Father and he will move mountains for us, he will fight our battles for us with forces we can’t comprehend
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18
Our human minds we have a tendency to hold on to things of this world because they are known to us. But the things of this world are temporary and not fruitful. When we fix our eyes on Jesus, we fix our minds on the eternal promises delivered to us by our Creator. The promises of hope and victory!
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
The original greek word in the scripture is “elpis” which not only means hope but means expect. There for this scripture says “Faith is the substance of things expected for” When we have true faith we expect the blessings of God even when we don’t see them
For we walk by faith, not by sight 2 Corinthians 5:7
Walking by faith is the Christian lifestyle, we don’t walk with doubt, fear, defeat, because our God is an awesome God. He spoke the Heavens and Earth into existence, he sent his Son to deliver us from death, and he sent his Holy Spirit to give us “Unseen Power” over are enemies in Jesus Name Amen

I really like this: “When we display this deep faith, it pleases our Heavenly Father and he will move mountains for us, he will fight our battles for us with forces we can’t comprehend.”
Thanks for the encouragement in my walk with the Lord. 🙂
