Straight Outta Bethlehem

“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” Micah 5:2

The prophet Micah predicted the Messiah would born in Bethlehem, so who fulfilled this prophecy? Of course Jesus did, not only was he born in Bethlehem but he was also from the line of David which is the tribe of Judah.

Jesus birth has been prophesied throughout the Bible starting in the book of Genesis to the book of Revelations. There is no doubt Jesus has fulfilled all these prophecies and he is The Son of God.

Therefore Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor bears a son, and the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites. Micah 5:3

Who is this son that was prophesied, of course it’s the only Begotten Son of God Jesus. Jesus came to save the world, notice it says “ the rest of his brothers” meaning Gentiles which is us “to join Israelites” (Jews)

Because of Jesus was have the new covenant which makes us a Child of God even though we were not born a Jew, this is clearly predicted in this scripture and has been fulfilled by Jesus.

He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth. Micah 5:4

Jesus has identified himself as the “Good Shepherd” his sheep know his voice and he has come to save them. And Jesus flock has been scattered across the world but we follow The Good Shepherd in Jesus Name Amen

A truly pivotal prophesy fulfilled in Jesus but contaminated by unashamed Apostasy within the Church. The whole purpose is now mixed with a seasonal celebration that has little to do with the truth of these words, with so many Christians thinking that it is enough to celebrate Christmas and Easter when so much more is required.
Jesus birth was the beginning of something special and our understanding of his life and ministry should provide pause when we look at what goes on in his name at this time.
Again important prophetic words – have a good look at the origins of Christmas if my comment has confused anyone.
