Weeping and Gnashing

“The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth Matthew 13:41-42

There are many who preach that there is no hell, but this is not Biblically correct. Although the words Hell, Hades , and Ghenna may be used interchangeably, Jesus paints a picture of weeping and gnashing of teeth.  Weeping and Gashing of teeth appears 7 times in the New Testament from Jesus teachings. It describes great torment and punishment for the wicked.

In this example Jesus is teaching the meaning of his parable about the weeds (tares). Eventually the weeds (followers of Satan) will be harvested and thrown in the fire (hell). This will be the final judgment. Let’s stop watering down the gospel to appease people. Nobody wants to hear about Hell, but doesn’t mean we should ignore the topic.

Those who commit lawlessness is sin. Anyone who commits sin is acting against God. There is only one salvation for our sins and its Jesus. That’s why spreading the gospel is so important. If you truly love someone, wouldn’t you want to tell them the truth?

The truth is Jesus Christ, we all need him and he’s the only way to salvation. Accept him as your Lord and Savior, confess your sins, and receive the Holy Spirit. Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand in Jesus Name Amen
