The demons begged Jesus, “Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them.” He gave them permission, and the impure spirits came out and went into the pigs. The herd, about two thousand in number, rushed down the steep bank into the lake and were drowned. Mark 5-12-13
Why did Jesus allow the demons to enter the herd of pigs? What can we learn from this story?
We need to remember Pigs were considered unclean animals. (Deuteronomy 14:8) therefore demons being allowed to enter into the pigs are symbolic of anyone who is spiritually unclean. If we live by the Spirit we should walk by the Spirit (Galatians 5:25) we will be known by the fruit we bear When you allow yourself to follow the ways of Satan, and fall into his traps of sin, you become spiritually unclean and allow yourself to be taken under his control. Remember Satan has one objective to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10) so be careful what and who you are following.
Just like the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, Satan will make sin look innocent, then seduce you with its temptation. But there are consequence for this sin and the wages are death. (Romans 6:23) Once you open the door for demons and evil to enter your life, the end result is the same as this herd of pigs. As the herd of pigs went straight into the abyss to there death.
But the good news is we have a savior, our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) all power and authority has been granted to him by God (Matthew 28:18) and the demons tremble at his very name (Jame 2:19) If your lost and need to be saved, everyone call upon Yahweh shall be saved (Romans 10:13) in Jesus Name Amen

The most powerful saying for me in the bible would have to be “Even the demons believe-and tremble!”.
