Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4
Are you walking through a dark valley right now in your life? Are you fearful or anxious about your future? We don’t have to be because God told us he would never leave or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6) Because God has not given us a Spirit of fear but one of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7) So whatever struggle you are facing against, say I will Fear No Evil, because God is with you. And if God be for us who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)
You may say then, how can God be with me? Why does he feel so far away? But Jesus taught us that God would send a Comforter and he will stay with you forever (John 14:16) That comforter is the Holy Spirit, the power of the living God, the same power that rose Christ from the dead is living inside you (Romans 8:11)
There will be trials and tribulations, however God blesses those who perseveres under trial, having stood the test, that person will receive the Crown of Life (James 1:12) So don’t walk through your dark valleys defeated, remember God has commanded us to Be Strong and Courageous for God will be with us wherever we go (Joshua 1:9) in Jesus Name Amen
Amen!!! I fear no evil!
I’m inspired and highly exhorted by this. God bless you.

Well written. I think too many people today are disillusioned that being a Christian means life will be easy. Quite the contrary. John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” It is great to know that the final battle is already won because of Jesus’ sacrifice. Praise God!!

Great blog post. Enjoyed it as always. The darkest shadow in a person’s life is death – theirs or someone they love. That’s why I love the King James or New King James Version of the Bible best. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.” I find myself repeating this often as I go through the dark valleys you mentioned in your blog. Thanks. God bless.
