If I believe in Baptism you call me a Baptist

If I believe in the Trinity you call me a Catholic

If I believe in the Holy Spirit you call me a Pentecostal

If I believe that Gods name is Jehovah, you call me a Jehovah Witness

If I believe the Sabbath is Saturday, you call me a 7 Day Adventist

If I stand with Israel, you call me a Zionist

If I believe in Creation, you call me a Creationist

The Truth is I am none of these..I am a Christian who actually reads the Bible

    Isn’t it interesting how we humans feel a need to categorized and even “pigeon-hole” each other into different (and many times, erroneously distinct and separate) groups? I think we need to learn more about social venn-diagrams, where we have commonality.

        ONLY as far as Sound doctrine allows! Some things are Not Negotiable about Christianity, and here is my list. You will find it to be exact and accurate….
        Christian Statement of Faith, All backed up with Scripture Verses.

        I BELIEVE the Bible is the inspired, only infallible,
        authoritative, inerrant, all sufficient Word of God (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21).

        I BELIEVE there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).

        I BELIEVE in the deity of Christ (John 10:33);
        His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:34-35);
        His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, 7:26);
        His miracles (John 2:11);
        His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25; 1 Corinthians 15:4);
        His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19);
        His personal return to earth in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11-16).

        I BELIEVE in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature,
        and that all are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ,
        and that only by God’s grace, through faith alone, are we saved (John 3:16-19, 5:24, Romans 3:23, 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5, and Acts 4:12).

        I BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of the life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal damnation (John 5:28-29).

        I BELIEVE in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28).

        I BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life (Romans 8:13-14, 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30, 5:18).

        And I BELIEVE that Marriage is Ordained by GOD, between ONE MAN and ONE WOMAN, FOR LIFE! ANY type of sexual activity outside of the GOD ORDAINED Marriage is a SIN!

    I love the bible! I read it every day and God speaks to me. I love the bible because it is Living from the True Living God who sent his precious Son Jesus. God Bless brother x

    Hey. Thank you for your blog post. Your blog post has profound insight as I’ve pondered upon it. I just want to share few thoughts that I’ve learned through your blog posts. (1) Suspend judgment for God alone knows the intent of the heart. (2) Don’t put labels on people who never claimed that label. (3) Avoid hasty generalizations. Thank you once again! 🙂

    Amen, very well put friend. Those Religious titles only benefit the leadership of those denominations and create divisions amongst followers of Christ. Jesus made it clear how we should see each other when running the same race together (Mark 9:38-41) (Luke 9:46-50).

    But we must be very careful, because Satan couldn’t defeat the Church from outside, so he joined it! Spreading anything he can to get us to take our eyes & minds off the One True JESUS!
    Remember, out of the SEVEN Churches in Revelation, Jesus only found ONE that was blameless…
    NOT to criticize or judge anyone, because I am a wretched sinner saved by Grace alone through Faith alone, but to sound the alarm for false Doctrine and false Christs…Because Many Abound!

    Let us hope you are a Christian, which means you call your self a “follower of Christ”, which would mean you keep to the teachings and to the believes of Christ Jesus, i.e. Jeshua of the tribe of King David, who is the sent one from God, a son of man and the son of God and not a god son. (Though from our quick look it looked like you believe the human doctrine of the trinity, which would make you not a true follower of Christ.)

        Does nowhere reveals a Trinity or says Jesus is God or God is Jesus.

    Greetings!
    Thank the Lord I agree wholeheartedly with you……We follow after Jesus, so that we may me One with Him, as He and the Father are one! When we are born from above, that means our Lord desires us to be more at one with Him, than of the world! He desires us to be free of ALL falsehoods that the Anti-Christ church system is teaching, which is an ungodly Righteousness, following after the “rudiments” of the World, and NOT after Christ and His foundation for His Bride the true Body of Christ.
    I enjoyed how you presented this, and I hope you will check out my blog, which I’ve just started so that you will know who I am. We need to be discerning in these last days! Because the days are very evil………
