Ask God

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14

In a recent article on CNN it stated “90% of Americans have prayed for healing” I find this interesting as we can assume that this included people of many different religions, nationalities, ages, education, ect. The conclusion that you can come to is most people are seeking God. Most people are looking for their Messiah to save them

This is why as Christians its important educate people on the gospel of Jesus Christ. We can’t assume everyone already knows who Jesus is or what he has done for us

Now we need to understand that God is not our magic genie. He has given us the gift of free will and your free to choose as you like. But when things don’t go how we planned, we can’t expect God to intervene when it’s our will and not his. If God intervened during every event, then we wouldn’t be free.

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. John 8:32

So then if we submit to God’s will can we be made free? Yes, without Christ we are all slaves to sin. No matter what path you choose in life , without Jesus you are condemned to death because of the curse of Adam. You may not believe in Adam or God however that won’t change the fact that your body is now mortal and subjective to disease and death

Jesus paid our debt on the cross, so once you accept Jesus as your Savior you will be set free. Because he is the Truth Life and Way.

They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?” Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. John 8:33-34

Jesus explains this concept in the above scriptures, most people will have the same reaction the Pharisees had. But don’t fool yourself, there is only one who can break every chain. So if you are seeking God and praying for a miracle, accept his only begotten Son Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and you will set free Amen
