Are you Teaching or Just Preaching?

As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation 2 Corinthians 6:1-2

Many times during our daily journey we ask “ Where is God?” We wonder how can this be Gods plan or will, but we must remember to fight the good fight and remain content in all circumstances.

Gods ways our greater than our ways, don’t rely on your own understanding to dictate your path. Let The Lord guide your path and make your paths straight.

We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. 2 Corinthians 6:3

Many times we can become a “stumbling block” for someone seeking Jesus. Have you condemned people without realizing it? This becomes a fine line we have to walk, knowing the difference between teaching and preaching. Anyone can preach the Word but its more effective to actually teach what Gods Word means

Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love;in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; 2 Corinthians 6:4-7

Paul endured many hardships and persecution during his ministry. Anyone who questions his motives for Christ just needs to look at his track record. He gained nothing in the world to exact Jesus except many trials because he knew his riches are in Heaven.

Through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything. 2 Corinthians 6:8-10

Again Paul describes to the world he looks like a fool, because the world worships money and vanity. But to the Kingdom of Heaven, Paul is a rich man. He saved many souls, he broke down boundaries and borders in Jesus name. As Jesus commanded us to make disciples of all the nations, Paul took the lead in doing this.

We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our hearts to you. We are not withholding our affection from you, but you are withholding yours from us. As a fair exchange–I speak as to my children–open wide your hearts also. 2 Corinthians 11-13

Many of Pauls revelations he revealed thru Jesus were not popular and wanted. But because Paul loved he spoke the truth anyway in hopes of saving everyone thru Jesus Christ.

How about you today, are just preaching the Word of God or are you actually teaching it so people understand? Does your life reflect your faith? Are your riches in the world or in Heaven? I pray that all churches and ministries focus on the true purpose of Christianity in Jesus Name Amen
