And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26
In this scripture who is God referring to as “us”? He is referring to the Trinity “Father, Son, Holy Spirit”, you see Jesus was here even before the Heavens and Earth were created.
(John 1:1) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
Once we understand the Trinity then we realize how amazing the birth of Jesus was and why we should glorify his name every chance we get. For we understand “God is with us” or translated Jesus.
John 1:14) “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
So as we see “In the Beginning’” was the Word (God) and the Word(God) became Flesh (Jesus)
Paui also confirmed this in ( Colossians 1:15) “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.”
So now you realize Jesus wasn’t just a prophet born to spread the Word of God; Jesus was God in the flesh. Who came here not allow to save us from our transgressions but to show us how to have a relationship with God. I also would reference Proverbs 8:23 “I was formed long ages ago, at the very beginning, when the world came to be.”
This is why the name Jesus “God is with us” is the name above all names. If Jesus wasn’t the Messiah his name wouldn’t have been. (Philippians 2:9)” Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,”
So this Christmas realize who your celebrating, give Glory to your King, God in the flesh who came to save us all. Keep Christ in Christmas in Jesus Name Amen
